I just printed two 24" x 36" prints from cropped, edited jpegs from a 16mp sensor and oh man are they sharp haha I'm so stoked (I've never printed this large before so cut me some slack, I'm a little giddy, ha so what).
I'll post up photos when I have them mounted and framed. They're going in an art exhibit in Omaha that I was asked and honored to be a part of.

On another note. I took some photos today haha these guys faces were interesting when I was a couple feet away snapping away ha

You and I would be fighting over the same corners at tracks lol. I'm always by myself when shooting a track or auto cross because I'm looking for the most extreme turn. Great work even through the fences. Must've been fun fighting auto focus!

I was using manual focus most of the time because auto kept wanting to focus on the second fence lol.

Yea that spot was very crowded by the time the main Indy race started. I'm really working on breaking into doing more motorsport events this year.

I thought it may start a stupid debate and get us locked down, but they are Catholic seminary students praying outside an abortion clinic. They exercised their right to a public display so I exercised my right to public photography, haha. The guys faces were pretty funny when I got up a few feet from their face. All I had on me was a 27mm equivalent prime so I had to get pretty close.

Yea they do have that bumped shadow look. I was messing with the white and blacks sliders so that's probably the culprit.

I do that a lot. I usually bump the blacks in a lot of my shots. Use the black slider in the Basic pull down and go around -20 or so..it helps a lot IMO.

I could make a video of it :cookiemonster:

but i won't...i have faith in all your abilities..haha

Wish me well! I'm entering an art exhibition in Omaha and have the chance to win $500 as grand prize, getting lower overall as you place lower, and of course the opportunity to sell your pieces of art. I went all in and printed big :D I'm going in on Thursday to watch the judging process.
