A shot from recently, no adjustments or tweaks, just a panorama... Not much, except that the sky is so blue!

Some REALLY nice work in here!

Last weekend actually, I did a solo trip in the Bighorn Mtns, we both hail from big wonderful, WY! (have mutual friends in Blackdawg and some others). Also: sick rig, I've always really liked yours, you have an aggressive front end! Keep it up, looks clean yet with a mean stance, I like it a lot!

    Sunset from the first night!

Actually, no! Just a little bit of Lightroom post-work to bump up the vibrance to get the photos to look like what the eye saw. There was a surprising amount of clarity up there even with all the wildfires burning in the area.

Hatchback FTW! I personally think the newer (08+) WRX hatchbacks look better than the sedans do haha. Not to mention a whole lot more functional.

    Hatches? :puke:

I prefer the look of the 05-07 sedans. I also like the look of the 2015

Crazy lightning storm last night, and got to put the Nero to work. By the time it started raining and I called it quits it was 1130. So I'll edit tonight and post up. I'm excited, they look pretty good on the back of the camera, but we all know how that can go.

I love the hatch over the sedan. An older buddy of mine had a 2011 STi sedan. I dont hate the look if the sedan by any means. I just love the look of the hatch.
I'm still not fond of the look of the 2015. It's not nearly as aggressive looking, and any wheel under 19" makes the car look disproportionate.

Peter, your camping box looks great! Excellent idea.

The MW shot needs a lot of noise reduction but you have the right idea. My favorite is the last of the leaves. Pretty cool how the water is vaporizing off the leaves.

I know, that MW shot isn't the best. I took it when we rolled into camp at midnight from the tailgate of my truck. My plan was to get a better composition the next night but a storm rolled in. Thanks for the comments!

I'm not sure if I made it better or worse but I tried some noise reduction just using Camera Raw (you can use it on jpg images too). I also guessed at some lens calibration and made a tiny curves adjustment.

I like the composition and aside from the noise, I think it's pretty nice!

Thanks! That's great! If I'm honest, I edited for instagram, so when it's 3"x3" the noise isn't prevalent. I did another edit that significantly reduces the noise. Can post later :)

I never even really had plans per-se. I read the whole 50 page Chuck Box thread on the expedition portal and just took design elements I liked and drew it on a piece of scrap paper. I'm not much of a cabinet builder, so it took some trial and error to get the shelving how I wanted it and the hinging flush. I knew what I wanted the outside dimensions to be, and I just built a very simple cabinet based on that size. In hindsight, I would have probably used 1/4" on the shelves just to save weight. It weighs about 75 lbs including two cast iron pans, the stove, and two liters of propane. Not bad while I'm young, but getting it into my truck might get more and more difficult!

I built it to be 20" tall so it could fit snugly under my camper shell, and strapped down to my sleeping platform in my Tacoma. It's standard 36" counter height when assembled. Footprint is 15"x24".

First teaser image from the wedding I shot. Hoping to have around 200 total keeper images from them to choose from.

2015's haven't grown on me yet. I saw one on the road a couple weeks ago and it didn't look bad in person but it didn't look great either.
