Eh mine is only 5.6?? 5.9?? Idk. The 7d is the fastest one canon makes...well.that us folk could afford haha

The 70d looks nice though. Came out 2 months after I got my 60 haha

I know I'm not getting a new body unless it's ff. 6d is my next body.

You might want the 7d over the 70d though. Depends I guess

My brother just stepped up to the 6d and freaking loves it. I bought his old 7d body so it was a win for everyone!

A 5d would be sweet. But I don't see th need to go that high over the 6d.

    But true about the lens

The 60d is only 5.3fps on a good day and depending on whether you're shooting raw or jpeg, you should be able to shoot between 10 and 40 frames before running out of buffer. Once the buffer is full, it will take a bit to clear. Sometimes around 20s. Which isn't too bad.

You are probably more limited by the camera's ability to process and write the data than the card itself (if you're running a decent card).

5.3 that's what it is. Thanks.

I shoot raw only so 10 images sounds right.

I don't see myself ever going FF. Definitely not anytime soon. Just too much money, and I would have to start from square one with glass too. To be honest I'll probably work on buying glass before a new body.

Haha you need to do more reading. The 6d is much better at night photos and such then the 5d. Thus why I want it. It'll also focus in 3 stops lower light then the 5d.

Try shooting at these isos. 160,320,640,1250,2500. Due to how our sensors are shaped from the crop and such. These isos for some reason keep the sharpness. I bet you'd be surprised at how many of my images are at 1250 or 2500.

I don't notice it in my photos at those settings.

True about glass. Need much better glass and more of it before a new body

Yeah, the 100-400 will be next. Then upgrade my 18-135 with the 24-105. Then I might pick up a 50...

24-105 would be my first choice.

    What haven’t I changed?
He also does a lot of bird photography, which the AF system in the 5dIII is much better suited for. Being able to autofocus in darker conditions than the 5D might save a little time and guesswork but it's not enough for me to consider it a must-have.

Well yes that's what I meant it can't take a 30second shot one after the other. I do shoot 30sec exposures for those stars

You shouldn't have any problem getting 30 second shots one after another.

Think I read the 7d and 6d MKII are supposed to get the same autofocus or damn near it.

I'm about low light so..that a big thing for me.

Ahhhh must be different sensors then. Or just not the same kinda options available. I have a ton of iso settings. Lame.

Well of course. All the people you follow are all professional or semi pro. So they are gonna have top tier gear.

I don't see it worth the extra 2 grand for the body.

    This. Something isn't right

Oh, also, I forgot the other night when I was shooting the lightning, when I zoomed out to 18mm, the lens would not go all the way to 3.5, the lowest it would go was 5.6. If I zoomed in just barely off 18 it would go down to 3.5. Anyone ever see anything like that?

Maybe I'll try to clean the contacts and see what happens.
