You have a series of technically good pictures. Exposure, focus, etc.

The 1st, 2nd, & 4th are good. I like the color and subject of the 1st-my only comment is the flag would have looked better to me as it was flat. The second gives you an idea of ceremony or assembly & participant focus. The architecture of the fourth is pretty cool.

The 3rd, 5th, & 6th don't really do much. In the case of 3, there's not enough context. The 5th is more of a snapshot and the 6th just doesn't do much for me as it's the back end of a plane.

It is an enticing lens, especially for the price :D

I don't manual focus all the time, but trying to focus an STM manually has been a little frustrating.

What's your processing technique for the B&W? They look fantastic.

just using silverefx 2. and making sure, by using that, the photo doesn't look like it can be processed under lightroom or photoshop. I'm still trying to find what I like in terms of b&w processing. also, I am using a Mamiya lens for those photos.

I don't have any aspiration of learning to edit when i don't even know what the hell i'm doing with the camera

I've taken photoshop and web design so learning an editing software shouldn't be a problem, just not ready for it chet :) i will keep in mind anything you recommend :D

So far, i've learned how to turn the flash off and the range finder on. Took probably 50 pictures in the house playing with it until my eyes got too tired to deal with the flash.

Also would like to know if i can adjust the screen brightness, its like the sun!
