So really, it's about a grand more for the a7s over a 6d.

Be interesting to shoot with both

A friend of mine is doing some testing with several different bodies including the a7. All I can say is that for the extremely high ISO image, the pic wasn't bad. Not great but OK. I think it was hand-held too.

When he posts the link, I'll pass it along.

The a7s is the one with basically the D4s sensor. The a7 is just a really nice Sony FF sensor but the (s) is the low light monster.

Still to high a price for too many quirks for my blood.

m43 focuses the fastest, is the smallest BUT has the worst IQ
Sony A7 focuses the slowest, is the largest BUT has the best IQ
Fuji is smack dab in the middle. :D Great IQ, Good AF, and beautiful lenses (Fuji makes lenses for Hasselblad).

The couple times I've used mine I have been happy with it. Takes some fine tuning, and has to be really dark out, or it will pick up ambient light. I have also used to time lapse for star streaks and that worked out well. I want to use to sound trigger part of it, but just haven't yet.

So some peeps were complaining that the photo I submitted for a school meeting thing wasn't "professional enough" so I went and took a selfie. haha Hope that will fit their needs.

It's funny you say that haha after my kakis and flannel button up weren't good enough I found a photo of me with a huge beard and no shirt, all tattooed up, looking pretty pissed haha I highly debated sending it in.

Went for the sarcastic overkill instead.

I like. Kinda shows how people are on their phones all the time with the real world just in the background. Something so small can be so controlling..

I thought it was too. I had to zoom way in to verify-the ash was the give away.

Your thoughts on the photo are right on though. Sitting at coffee this morning, I thought the very same thing-there were a handful of people at the same table; heads buried in their phones.

Have you seen Zack Arias' de_VICE series? It took off and everyone started hashtagging #de_VICE after that. But some of the photos are still good.

On one hand it's nice when everyone can contribute, then on the other it kind of stinks when you have a good thing going and then everyone wants to contribute haha

Anyway, it's all just people on their phones. I feel like that is the ONE photo that is not at all difficult to get on the street or anywhere haha just look up and you'll see people so into their phone they wouldn't notice if you took their photo with a strobe.

I like his work and I hope it raises some awareness. In the same way the selfie/food shot complaints did at fancy restaurants.

You should be holding or possibly even twirling a gold pocket watch on a chain haha!
