    Yeah my buddy Pat lives in his Dodge van full-time. He's a full-on dirtbag climber. Repairs cell phone towers in the midwest during the week, and rock climbs in the mountains on the weekends.

    You did good for your first attempt. Carry a flashlight with you to get focus and focus manually ie turn it off. You can use live view to magnify an area of the photo to get your focus correct. Most night shots I use a lower ISO and usually don't go over 30 sec anymore. I don't do astrophotography but I do know you use a higher ISO for that. You can also light paint the truck to make it stand out some more. I really love night photography and would rather do that than anything in the daytime.

    Thank you! This was a 30-second exposure. Aperture was f8, ISO 200. I had to get a little creative with the tripod to sneak the camera lens into a small gap between the low concrete wall and the metal grating on the pedestrian bridge.

    Thank you! I am pretty happy with how it turned out. :)
