    Nice! I've seen lots of pictures with effects like this..do I need a program to do this or is it all on the lens?

    Also..I didn't want to start a new thread for the real reason I came here. I am a average DSLR user..take pictures of my daughter..neices..nephews..sometimes I want to zoom in more but the "stock" lens that came with my Canon Rebel EOS XS is very limiting. Is this lens ok for the price? Or is it overkill with the zoom? Any suggestions on a lens that zoom in fairly far i.e. when im at the zoo when I want to capture the animals for about the same price or is this an "ok" lens? Let me know..thanks!!

    For the "price" its an ok lens well the Nikon's 70-300 is. :p

    As for the photo it MIGHT be multiple photos merged in PS.

    Say what? Lol umm maybe I should take my camera in to a camera shop..I wonder if they'll let me try different lens. Maybe Frys is the best bet? And then I can shop online for cheaper prices :notsure:

    Not Frys? K. I used to live next to a camera store in Oceanside but now that I'm home all I got is Best Buy and Frys and Target. Guess i'll google search one and I will for sure google search the lens for review once I decide on one. Thanks!

    Frys doesn't usually carry canon. so good luck. I work for Best Buy, i know. haha. Find a camera store, i was born in Beaverton, OR, there are plenty of camera stores in portland.
