That's exactly what I asked for but it drug on and eventually I got it from the other person, not TT. This was the only part of my experience I was not happy with. Everything else came quickly and was accurate.

I had a few other problems which I considered minor and gave feedback to Rob so he can either figure out if he needs to update certain parts to specifically fit 2009 DC's. Specifically the tweeter mounts have a half moon cut out of them to eliminate interference with the mount leg, I need to trim off about 1/8" to allow proper clearance and I used a utility knife. The sub enclosure, I needed to remove ~ 1/4" from the lower lip of the channel that runs across the back. It was hitting the metal cross member on the truck. That was easily removed with a circular saw. Took two trial fits before I was done. The only other thing is well documented here at TW, the front door speaker mounting bolts (upper rearward) interfere with the door panel and a 1" paddle bit took off about 1/2" depth of material fixing that problem. Rob said he hasn't heard of the problems before but I find it hard to believe they didn't exist. I can't be the only one or I just have bad luck. As for my little project, I only have two things remaining, connecting the Amp and mounting and connecting the main power fuse holder. That's a tomorrow project and I expect 4 hours to be just right. I can't wait to be done. Next time I just might hire someone to do the install.

Who said anything about Crutchfield or Mr. Marv? I said I'm a DIYer. Before you start calling people out, do some research noob. And as a matter of fact, my sub enclosure inspired Mr. Marv himself.

Burrr... Yes, cold up there. Just some off topic advice... If you plan to install something like Ensolite, I recommend buying it early and let it air out in the garage a few weeks. Ensolite has a strong odor to it and it is starting to wear off but I''m lucky, it's been a few nice days where I can leave the windows down. Too bad it's not that new car smell. Just a heads up if you go that route.

    @mjonags32:
Nice looking sub enclosures. And very true, that shifter knob does look cool.

Well, at that risk of getting flamed by the haters, I will again post my own PERSONAL experience which was a positive one. My amp, sub and mounts are from TT and everything went great and sounds great. Rob and I have kept in touch and I do plan to purchase from them again. Please note I am not a noob and I have posted pics, so dont give me any shit about that. :)

This is a good deal...I got my sub box and ID sub when TT was selling them for $199.00

The ID v.3 10" sub alone is $149 so $50 for a single 10" Line-x'd box is a heck of a deal but this doesn't mean they should have horrible customer service.

I've had my truck since 2005, and was around when ********* first started. Rob was fanboy #1 on Toyota Nation, not too unlike this tacomarock dude here. Pretty much every post he made was promoting TT, yet he always claimed he had no affiliation with the company. When it became clear that wasn't the case he changed his story and said he was friends with the owners, and they hooked him up with gear in exchange for promotion. Now 5 years later and he's the owner, which I'm 99.9 percent sure was the case all along.

Point of the story is that dude has been shady since day 1. His shitty business practices have been exposed time and time again. I personally would never buy anything from the place.

They are crooks plain and simple. There are always two sides to every story but here's mine:

I ordered items from TT totaling near $900 from them that were to be shipped last summer but they have not to this date. After countless delays, no replies, excuses and really just lies, I asked for a refund but was told it was too late. Paypal was used and time had expired for a refund with them.

Eventually they said get a refund by filing a claim with the credit card company. Ever tried doing that? PIA. I said just send me a cheque then. No response and no cheque.

Later I was about to buy another truck so I said go ahead and send the original order. They responded that they would. That was a few weeks ago. Nothing and no response. They have had numerous opportunities to make good on this and can't or more likely- won't.

Even if others have had a good experience TT only have to cheat a customer once to be fraudsters- and they have and they are. I invite them here to refute any single representation I've made. Again, they can't and they won't.

I will be following up with the authorities in their State.

p.s. I have since had a great system installed locally which I can detail if anyone wants. There is nothing special about what TT do or recommend, that a good shop cannot replicate or surpass.

Its less about the money- but I don't throw away $900.
They should not be allowed to operate the way they do.

why would he ask him to "please file a dispute" ? If he knew he owed him a refund, why beg the guy to go through the credit card company? Why not just give him his refund due, or give him the shit he ordered? I'm not saying I know what went on here, but it sounds odd that an owner of a business would plead with one of their customers to go and file a dispute.

It is complicated and time consuming to get a CC refund. Why should I waste more of my time at this point. I've given them two pretty simply options; to send a cheque as refund, or just send the original items for a another truck (where they get to keep their profit margin for a terrible transaction). Do either of these seem unreasonable or difficult to you?

Bottom line is they have had my order and my money for several months. I'm the customer- what more should I have to do to get satisfaction? They should be rushing to resolve this but instead are dragging it out willfully or they just don't care.

p.s. I just got an email last night asking had I contacted the CC company, when over a month ago we confirmed with one another my shipping address to send the original order. Its painful. They evidently not only do not respond to email, they don't read them either. When I said go ahead and send the order (again) they said great, just confirm address. I did right away but nothing transpired.
