Thier stuff isn't bad equipment at all, but customer service takes a huge hit. Try to squeeze out a tracking number from them and then verify the shipment is actually moving from place to place.

it's a company that makes decent audio equipment for tacoma's but has a very poor reputation when it comes to customer service.

do a search of the forum and you will see a number issues with them. or read thru this thread.

as you can see from teh poll. 30% of former customers have said they would not order from this company again.

The bad thing is, there are locations on these forums where ********* is mentioned, in an almost possitive light, and I placed my order only to find a thread the following day about how crappy the customer service was and posting telling me of people who never got thier orders. I hoped I would be one of the lucky few that saw all the equipment arrive in a timely fassion but that was not the case. All but my sub speaker showed up and it did take several weeks to get that. It took over a month to get my sub speaker, not the speaker box but the actual speaker. Just look for my postings and you can read the ordeal. I would not recommend buying from this place, stick with Mr. Marv for ordering products or other vendors.

The equipment sounds good to my ears but I'm 48 years of age. I think it will last for many years to come. I know the Alpine amp I bought has more than enough power to make my ears bleed, but I don't listen to music that loud. I'm interested in overcomming road noise, that's all, well most of the time that is.

I ordered the kit after seeing TT mentioned in the Speaker Upgrade BASIC How To... thread and thinking it was great to have everything in one kit. Not quite sure how I missed feedback on TT and definitely regret ordering from them now.

    June 27th - Ordered
June 30th - PayPal Request for additional shipping to Canada. Like a chump I sent it and got the automated PayPal email about the transaction.
July 11th - Haven't received my order. Haven't received any emails that my order has even been shipped/in stock/out of stock. No tracking number. Sent TT an email asking what's up.

Excuse me while I step into my DeLorean...

July 14th - Start grievance/refund process with PayPal. Contact CC company. Contact US counterparts for investigation.

I have a job where I'm accountable to the tax paying public. I have work and personal email accounts which get checked multiple times a day, and while I know it sounds shocking, replied to as well. :O

I'm stunned that I allowed myself and a company to have ZERO contact with me for over 2 WEEKS after ordering.

sorry to hear this. i keep hoping that TT will one day realize that treating customers like shit is bad for business, but these stories just keep on coming.

Have you called and left a few messages on the answering machine? That's what it took from me to get a response. Emails went unheard until I left a few messages. I was nice about it, you catch more flies with sugar than salt they say.

Yup, voicemail was left on Tuesday and I haven't got a call back yet. Just asked for a status on the order etc. Next day I got an email from USPS saying they received shipping information, but haven't received the package yet. As of right now, it still hasn't shipped according to USPS.

Sounds familiar to me, very familiar. The only good thing here is you have recognition that they know you're still waiting for what you ordered.

I've had the tracking number since the 14th and as of today, it still hasn't shipped. Only saying the electronic shipping info has been received by them.

Called again and left another voicemail asking when it will go out the door as my previous email and voicemail were ignored.

Sorry to hear. I wish people on this and all forums would just state ********* has poor customer service when they mention thier name in any posting.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
Placed an order on the 15th for a single DIN dash kit. Electronic shipping info (Priority with Delivery Confirmation) from USPS received on the 19th. As of the 22nd I still don't have it which is a crock of shit seeing as he's located in San Antonio.

The headunit I ordered on the 16th and arrived from today from NY via UPS.

Should have listened to the warnings on the forums. I thought "it's just a dash kit not an enclosure or anything like that how hard can it be??"

I checked the taco tunes website and there's a notice saying that they're strictly only operating by email right now.
