I placed an order for their front/rear HDP adapters with the bolt kit and they threw in the harnesses at no charge for free. Received the goods in 5 days. Tx to Ca. My experience with ********* so far is good and i will continue to order the sub box for the kicker l7 soon. :)

    It's FINALLY here.

Like others have said, product is good and now that I can see it up close, the price is a little high.

As soon as you order, you're "obligated" to pay, and a few days later is when you get the notice of additional shipping costs to Canada. Had I known that before hand I would have looked elsewhere.

They printed and signed the customs declaration on July 1st. Electronic shipping info on July 14. Didn't go out the door for a few days after that. No emails returned. No calls returned. Horrific/non-existent customer service.

If you get the ported box you are better off with one of those smaller footprint amps mentioned. It will be easy to mount under the drivers seat or under the backseat in the storage box. You might as well amp the door speakers if you are adding an amp to your system, you won't regret the extra spent on it compared to deck power for the door speakers.

It depends on what you want. If you're looking to order something and wait for a long time, without any feedback other than your credit card was charged immediately, shop at *********. You may or maynot see what you purchased.

If you are looking to overhaul your system or even do some minor upgrades and get them soon, stay clear of *********.

I have the 10" sub, both sets of speakers you mention, and the PDX-5 amp. As for cabling goes, I would search ebay for the Stinger HPM 4 Gauge Amplifier Wiring Wire Kit SHK241 GA wiring kit. It came with all the cable I needed to wire this amp (including speaker wire) and I paid $57.75. I used some of the CTX65CS speaker wire (comes with the speakers) to run the tweeter wires. Your Sub wires would be seperate but that is cheap as well. PM me if you would like to know who I purchased from. I would use them again in a heart beat. I was accidentially sent 12 feet of 10 GA wire, vice 12 feet of 8 GA wire. I emailed the seller and had the replacement wire overnight, no additional cost and I still have the other wire as well.

You won't get flamed for possitive comments. Even I make possitive comments about ********* products and how competitive his prices have been. I'm glad you had a possitive experience and I would like to see everyone post with their experiences, good or bad. After all, we all come here for information and advice.

I Love the PDX-5. The only negative comment I would have is directly related to where I mounted it. It's under the drivers seat where many people install it. This makes it more difficult to tweak but I left enough wire so I can push the seat forward and pull it out from under the seat a few inches and access the tweaking panel. You can't go wrong with this amp. I bought it off EBay for a great price, new. The downside is Alpine won't respect the warranty because it wasn't an authorized retailer. Oh well, it was a good risk.

I don't think you're gonna get much feedback on this one plus if Rob were trying to turn around the customer service issues, all you will be doing is throwing up a longer chain of negative information. My suggestion, if you're helping Rob, start a new thread titled "I Ordered from ********* and this was my experience." The first entry could be "We are trying to obtain an understanding of each persons experience with ********* and this information information can be used in order for people to gauge if they would like to or not order from *********." This type of thread would promote both negative and positive comments. You could even do a poll if you like. Rob should be familiar with the problems. I responded to your PM.
