    it's a longish 50k, with an insane amount of gain/loss, much of it off trail on loose scree/talus- my goal was to finish, nothing more and I accomplished that

    I ran it in it's first year (September 2013), was going to give another go this year, but they booked up fast as Kilian Jornet was entered- the rock star of mountain running

    im just glad you didnt say 50Miles or more. Maybe ill come give it a go in 2016 then.

    elevation ranges from 7500' to a little over 11,000; you summit Lone Peak about 20 miles into the run-it's a real spirit breaker, 2000' + feet on loose talus in a little over a mile

    I ran a beer mile today. Way harder than expected, my actual mile was bout a 6:30 on the track but the beer drinking part of it had me finish in 11:09. I have no idea how the record is a 4:57 mile doing this.

    Too cold, both the beer and the temps outside. The winner did 7 flat. It was a lot of fun, really good group of people having good clean fun!
