That’s terrific! Thanks for the update @crazysccrmd .

I can’t stand my DSL service.
It’s constantly running well under the performance I pay for (15 Mbps down, 1 up)
    2FC7581D-888B-4CF7-AA6A-512E52276A7B.jpg

And that’s on a good day.. LTE numbers up here are a fraction of what you’re seeing:

    I’m drooling over your numbers.

Disappointed, crickets from SpaceX/Starlink.. Signed up as quickly as I could hoping it would be here by now.

    @crazysccrmd , a few questions-

    1) What was the largest diameter connector you had to fish into your house?

    2) Do you have a sense of the range of the Starlink wifi? If so, have you measured the drop off in speed the further out you go?

    Thanks in advance :hattip:

My router and power supply are in a water tight box outside my house. It's a rental so I can't really drill holes through it. It would require a 3/4" hole though.

The wifi range covers my whole house but drops sometimes in my driveway which is the farthest point. At that point the signal is trying to go through or around an entire house though.

Also still waiting.. Cincinnati has it, 50mi. west, roughly same latitude. Looks like they may be servicing the population centers, like all the others? Hope they stay true to their 'get it out to the people who need it' statements. I'll stay on the list until Aug., may cash out after that, and then move to some place with fiber! Don't want to, but need decent internet, like everyone else. All I've gotten here is promises for the last 30 years! :annoyed:

I’m surprised there’s only been one forum member whose gone on the record as receiving theirs.

We’re up against June now. The constellation has continued to grow steadily.

It’d be BS to load up places where you can get fiber with D. Flatfaces..:annoyed:

Was checking the coverage map yesterday after Xfinity boned me (again) on price with no measurable speed difference..

Looked like there is a good concentration of satellites at the Northern edges. Seems that would be good for people in remote northern areas

I’ve been checking the app for a couple of months now and feel confident the coverage will be light years beyond what I have now.

Red lines from my location to a (several) satellites(s) are the norm. Lack of lines rare.

I’m up in the White Mountains in NH.

White Mountains no joke. I used to train for "real" alpine climbing there and North Conway before I moved west. After 17 years in the Sierra I've never even come close to the conditions that little 6288' hill throws at you. Like not even remotely close. lol

Again with the population centers, sigh. However, I'm on board with your tenacity, perseverance, ultimate victory.

    It’s wild!

Quick story- many years ago me, the Mrs and our dog hiked to the top of the Rockpile.

We were on the ground level near the observation deck when the Cog pulled in blowing it’s horn. Every time the horn blew, my dog would howl like a wolf. The people on the observation deck and all around us crammed to watch. One of those funnier in person things :)

It’s great living up here! Not as spectacular as the Rockies but many options for day or multi-day hikes. No state taxes, no traffic jams. Good place to live!

Deposit down in April and have seen the string of satellites above my place several times. And yet still no equipment headed my way. I'm in the boonies north of a big tech city. One would think the hardware would be at my doorstep already.

Man, April was soo long ago. There is something of a chip shortage going on, hardware doesn't grow on trees.

Deposit down in Feb I should have a satellite on my doorstep by now.

That is quite the helpful statement right there. Do you see the satellites above your home? Odd that I do and still no HW at my door step. And one would have to assume the chips are already in the one going over MY home.
