The dish.. The point is you are a newb even compared to my newbness and Way lower Latitude if your location is correct.. There are people that signed up way earlier than us that don't have theirs yet. Patience padiwan.

 

Absolutely to your point of my newness to this BS. AND DOH! To dish needing chips. Damn it. I blow through my VZW mobile hotspot by mid month every month and even have an extra 5gb. Just for work and minimal surfing. Like all of us, patience is wearing thin. And thank you for your patience with me.

 

You've only been on the list for a month or two. I signed up the day the beta opened up and got my hardware in February, over six months later. Be patient. You also have almost no satellite coverage compared to the northern latitudes which means the number of users allowed in your area is much lower.

 

Nothing wrong with being antsy and wanting hardware. I'm ready to have my name on a satellite like name-a-star program. I want Elon to ride up in his car out there and write it himself. But he's too busy playing with his Doge

So it rained hard here today and I didn’t feel like getting wet. Intentions delayed until daylight hours tomorrow.

btw…my area was offered beta user Feb 8 and I signed up that day. Dish shipped Feb 16th and I have been paying for monthly service since receiving. I opened the box to inspect but have been waiting to permanently use at our house we move to on Tuesday. I just hope a 5 mile difference from my ordering address doesn’t prevent my SpaceX internet system from becoming active. Huge savings if I can ditch the TV dish and cable internet and just use SpaceX for my information connectivity going forward.

also I have the roof mount and cable install kits SpaceX sells as accessories and I intend to use both.

How much was the roof mount accessory?

 

both together were $51.74 when I ordered. I don’t know the price per item.

 

But I would consider swapping all my SpaceX stuff for either Total Chaos or Dirt King Lower Control Arms.

I did read recently they applied to lower the orbital altitude to provide better connectivity.

This thread is BS too, right? Have your tin foil ready, I got some real BS about Starlink. It’s weird how the government is declassifying and acknowledging all this UFO stuff going on. The media is making it mainstream and getting people use to it. And it’s just a coincidence Starlink is being launched around the same time. I think Starlink is a holographic projector system that will be used to fake an alien invasion to force everyone to come together to fight the aliens (think Independence Day) and that’s how they get global control over us. Discuss.
