You could make your own. Find the Truck side of the connector at a pick and pull then get the radio side of the connector from a stereo install kit. Simply wire the speak wires from the pick and pull connector to the amp if it has speaker level inputs, if it doesn't there are simply kits to convert to RCA, and wire the rest of the wires from the pick and pull connector to the connector from the stereo install kit. Bingo bango you've made your own no cut stock wiring kit in probably less than an hour. You could even use some quick connects from Crutchfield if you don't know or want to learn how to solder.

true, IF i could find a tacoma in the yards in Texas.... not common and when they do get one it gets stripped in record time.

yeah, know how to solder right thanks to USAF, was just trying to do this with minimal fuss......maybe OEM audio plus could help.

Usually the limiting factor is finding that Toyota connector on the Truck side. That's also why I think ********* has so many issues. You need to find a donor truck for the connector since Toyota doesn't sell it on it's own AFAIK. No parts, no product, and then angry people.

That has always been an issue with connectors, was once looking for the regulator receiving connector for my R1....6 months and finally one of the Yamaha engineers told me that it was a proprietary/custom unit...the harness side is available.......

I purchased from them before I knew of all the issues. Everything arrived as expected no issues. Guess I got lucky.

I have the one from them, and amp plug and play harness. Ordered it 2 months ago no issues. Used a lc7i to convert to rca to my amp.

LED interior lights. Steering wheel mod. New radio. Amp, speakers and sub woofer.
Toyota female connector for the 6 pin is 90980–10672. 10 pin should be 90980–12069. Youll need the male pins. I can search them out if you want to go this route.

Then just get the metra 71-1761 harness for the male side and wire the 2 up together.

Thanks, I can use this info.

These are for the non JBL, non Navi entune hi in the 15 correct?

Gotta ask...... the JBL unit is different and the Tacoma 2nd gen had different head units.

Building a harness is easy, just time consuming. It is the plugs that are always the tough part.

Toyota made the change from a 20 pin connector for jbl in the '13 and below years to the 10 and 6 pin in the '14 and '15 models and probably '16 and up. So yes, these will work in the '15 model. Either jbl or not.

You could also get the pac audio BHA1761. That's the female plugs with wires already and still use the metra 71-176.

Thanks man, been searching for a while and the Meta site never seems to show all the stuff you find at the store or online,
When I found TT I was like hell yeah, then I started reading bout the problems with them and that the harness they supply is not something they make, which has lead me to a year long search for the manufacturer of said harness. Think I will get out my tape and peg board and just build one....

    Thanks y’all.

This company really SUCKS‼️ We purchased a regular cab 5 lug and just wanted to upgrade the speakers.
So apparently they make an kit to wire everything together using the OE head unit. Well I emailed and called several times. They finally call me back I asked them for just an wiring harness so I can run a small amp to run 6.75” & tweeters in the Door’s. Well it’s taking weeks for them to ship and they are shipping 2/TWO harnesses. Making me pay for something I can NOT use‼️

Now I see why their name is blocked out‼️ Grrr...
$h!t, we are not rich and I’m actually on disability so that’s why I didn’t upgrade the head unit! Trying to get the best bang for the buck. I purchased scratch and dent speakers and the same with the amp. $250 speakers for $179 and $169 amp for $89.

Installed there 5 channel amp. Followed the set up several times. Radio sounds like your in a 55 gallon drum. Could not get them to answer phone calls or e-mails. Would not recommend to anybody. So if your thinking about it, DON’T. I ended up putting a kenwood 5 channel and a Lc2ipro loc. Sounded just like I wanted it to.
