I noticed my 2010 has a nice little growl/tone at low rpm's. Jerez thought I had a trd exhaust when he first heard it pull through the alley.

well. I guess I'm not that crazy for wanting the sound of our fj then. I thought I was gonna get some crazy responses. Anyone know of an aftermarket muffler with that sound?

Thats gonna be tough man. Best bet is to listen to sound clips.. even then, the sound will be different than in person.

I'd say the most mellow sounding exhust will be the trd catback. louder than the FJ IMO, but a nice growl for the tacoma

I thought about going that route but I am going to do a reroute and dump the tip to get some clearance. So, unless I could buy just the muffler it wouldn't make sense. I've got some time though. Thanks fellas

This thread fucking died. Well, after installing the snorkel how many weeks ago? I finally cut the hose and bolted the airbox down. Now lets just hope I was able to tighten the clamp enough.......

Guess I'm not going to be cool enough to hang in here now..

I went out of town for a few days and during the trip decided I was going to get the FJ because it's super badass.

Called the dealership when I got back. Somebody bought the damn thing! Guess it wasn't meant to be..
