    I thought my all terrain bilsteins + 3" top spacer rode just as good as my fox 2.0's :anonymous: :laugh:
    they just couldnt handle the weight of the plate bumper+ winch.
    Was also able to get an alignment back to stock specs w/ 3" lift + stock uca's.
    I need to get new uniballs for my Ap uca's so i can throw them on and get an alignment. :(

    Yeah it must just depend on how good the shop you go to is. When I installed my 5100's on my 2nd gen tacoma and had them set to the 1.85 setting they claimed they did the best they could at getting the alignment normal. The camber was so fucked up it didn't even look like they had touched a thing. :mad:

    oil change...
    so i went and test drove my first fj today at lunch. I like it but it was a 6speed...
    it was kinda hard to get a feel for the car bc i was too worried about changing gears.

    the guy a delt with was my father-in-laws brother so i atleast knew who i was dealing with, he a nice enough guy...

    i asked how much they wanted for it 25,900!!!!wtf for 2008 6 speed, 4x4, 33k miles, rear locker, a trac, inclinometer.
    way over priced. I could get that 6" lifted blue one with 35's with the same miles for 22,000...I just said "ive got to get back to work, if you find a auto let me know"

    yea 26k is kind of high. I didn't pay much more than that for my brand new (at the time) 2010 :p

    hope they find you another...or you snag that silver one for a good price

    Nope, not me. Not into the whole rock crawling deal. My lift plans do keep changing, I would love the LT 2" kit, but right now this rent is killing me. So will probably settle on OME or something.

    yea thats more than i paid for my 2010 trd taco ($25,600 with 30 miles), granted im only 2wd but their fj is a manual...

    felt like a 2wd to me. i couldnt even tell.

    the gears were weird to me. reverse was up and to the left, next to 1st. i felt like i was going to shift to reverse every time i wanted 1st.:eek:

    i called the dealer about that silver one with the lift and wheels and they are asking 24,900...
    they have another silver one, stock with 60k miles and want 21,700

    Yeah, luckily you have to really slap it over into reverse. And you shouldn't be shifting into 1st quickly in most situations :D
