I am going to look into the back up camera anytime mod. Would be cool to click a switch and have the rear camera pop up without throwing it in reverse

that or tie in another camera so you can see whats infront of you below the bumper or looking under the body :D
that would be pretty easy, all you really need is a switch with power so it thinks the reverse lights are on. i just could not get power from the reverse lights, i think i know why now after i put it all back together. the bulbs are three wire, power ground and switch and i think i have to wire in the power and ground right to the wire. you unplug the light is shows no power what so ever but as soon as its clicked back into the reverse light the bulb lights back up.

they are far from a manly sounding horn...but damnit are they good and loud.

very different tone...few vids on youtube if you search the hella super tones.

I would hunt the junk yard for a suburban or ford full size horn that utilizes a 2 wire system and splice it in your stock horn wiring.
something with a little umpf to it :p

got the supertones too. loud as hell, but not deep. i love it though, get's people's attention when needed. if you get them, make sure to mount them forward facing in the front of the vehicle, as they are very directional. behind the grill is best.
amazong has them for good prices. i think i got mine with free shipping too.

I think i'm gonna build some brackets for the small Kragen/autozone/harborfreight rectangle lights to mount them on the rear of the factory rack.
going to be similar to my shovel and axe mounts

Auto zone sells led lights that fit absolutly perfect where the reflectors set in. I just couldn't for the life of me get them to work
Samsies, once I get a rack im just gonna mount some aux lighting on the back of it so I have lighting for camping and backing up.

just saw this part. Why couldnt you get them to work?

did you not just tie into the existing wires for the normal backup lights?

use a little piggyback connector to connect the positives together and then just ground them somewhere back there.

I was even gonna name it the zombie runner mod
First off I need a helmet to do this cause I am fucking retarded with electrical stuff. I can install radios, speakers and subs but can't wire in a basic light.....

Secondly, it was 95 with 90% humidity out so I just kind of threw my hands in the air and walked away. :frusty:

I will prob have the rear lights mounted on the factory rack this weekend. Is it illegal to have yellow rear-facing lights?
(waiting for POPO stillfly to answer)
