we buy pre packaged stuff but when we were in MD they had this stuff called Lebanon bologna. It was really good! Not like typical bologna. Could only find it in the "mid-atlantic" region.

not really a sammie cuz there is no mayo but I made some biscuit dough and rolled it super thin, put some spiral cut baked ham and provolone in it, rubbed it with melted butter, garlic powder and Italian seasoning and baked it on 450 for 12 mins for a homemade hot pocket

pizza dough would have prolly been a little better for this application but biscuit dough is quick, breakfast sausage or bacon would have been great, and if I could figure out how to put scrambled eggs in it, that would be even better

yeah I guess that would work I just don't wanna over cook/dry out the eggs, but I guess if you seal up the dough good it wouldn't dry out too bad

I cook my eggs pretty well when I do my fatties and the smoking/baking them never dries them out. With the other ingredients in there and especially cheese then the dough sealed you should be good to go. BTW looks mighty tasty and think I may be making them for breakfast this weekend. Would also probably be awesome with some of that Pillsbury croissant dough.

That is pretty close to my recipe, I just don't use the butter in mine. Sometimes I use bacon/bacon grease instead of the sausage. Now I'm actually sitting here almost drooling. :D
