Thanks! I fried up my bacon, built the ‘wich, and put them back in the cast iron with the bacon fat.

    NY strip steak sammich
Toasted pugliese, mayo, deli mustard, crispy oyster mushroom fries, tomato/serrano jam, medium rare steak, and butter lettuce.

And the biggest purple asparagus I’ve ever seen.

I’d be happy to share the exact recipe I created and it makes for a fantastic semi-relaxed date night in. The wife is already planning out the next time I’m supposed to make it

    Thank you!

It was and I surprised myself. I’ve been out of work for almost 6 months, so we’re eating on the cheap. One day old steak* + veggies from the farmer’s market = opportunity. The things you can do when money is tight...

*I paid a guy for a “half” steak on a BOGO fresh/day old deal. We split the cost of his steak and I got two steaks “free” :). I spent $14 total for 4 meals (including veggies and nonalcoholic drinks).

Long story short, pride often gets in the way of good eatin’. Don’t let it.
I’ll make more just to watch?

[IMG] pork belly and onions from my last video and ham turkey cheese mayo mustard (yellow because that's what we have at work...) hotsauce, jalapenoes and banana peppers; quite satisfying
