These food threads always make me hungry! :hungry:

Nothing to contribute really, but I recently found HowToBBQRight on YouTube and he makes some mighty fine looking sammiches (among other things). Is it lunch time yet?

I have a lazy approach to Philly cheese steaks, or cheap if you will. I usually just saute some onions and bell peppers then mix in some ground beef seasoned with pepper and seasoning salt; add the provolone in there as well. I think I saw it in one of those facebook recipe videos. Sloppy philly cheese steaks on burger buns. That video totally puts me to shame haha

went to the local market the other day and they usually have a big rack of fresh hoagie style sammiches. they didnt have any out as it was early so I asked the lady if they were making any today. She gets snippy with me and says the bakery didnt make any bread in a real shitty tone...(which is in the same store). So I didnt get mad, but I said so thats a "NO" then...LOL I didnt need an explanation..lol

There is a steak house that we eat at once a month or so after church and its kinda meh but they have like a meat and 3 special (on Sundays for sure it may be every day) and I usually get that because one of the 3 can be a dessert and its like $9 or $11 if u want to swap a salad for 1 of the 3 sides. Anyway, every so often they have smoked turkey breast and it's fantastic. The first time I got it I figured it would be super dry or tough or something just thrown together, but its really good and since I had a salad and dressing and cheese cake with my 2 slices of turkey (my wife the same) we had some turkey leftover and I made a Sammie at work today... Still a good tasting bird.
