I had thought about asking about dates but figured let it be. Don't want special treatment, just want SP to push forward pumping out great products. If they end up saying the install date goes forward (original rough estimate was late May/Early June) then yay. My order is in a unique position of retaining the original price while receiving the various upgrades such as tent fabric. Only hiccup is needing to sell my camper shell/tent/rack combo sooner, if that does indeed happen.

I hope so! There was a great white on white combo here posted by SuperRAD https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...by-super-pacific.673574/page-87#post-24886247, that look reeeeally good.

Black on white, or the reverse of my order also looked great: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...y-super-pacific.673574/page-102#post-25019002.

Went with white for heat reasons in SoCal. I don't give a damn about dirtiness.

I just emailed Cindy, letting her know that I'm willing to send my 1st 50% payment, without the expectation of any speed up on my order.

Doesn't seems too far off for too many. Waiting for ours from September but were pushed out due to weather and supply issues. Cindy said we should be around mid march.

Here's what Cindy has to say

    Hi Bryan

While that is extremely generous of you, it is not necessary.

After finally being able to poke our heads above water, we recognized that from a business standpoint it made more sense to realign our invoicing structure. So what have done is let our existing customers know that when it is time to trigger their build, they have the option to pay 50% or 75%. New orders will not have this option.

Super Pacific is doing great (& I wouldn’t mind if you corrected that rumor on the forum).

I truly appreciate that you have reached out as it gives us another opportunity to correct misinformation/misinterpretations that come out of the forum discussions.

    Have the best day,

    Cindy

Good on you for making the offer.

I was about to contact her with offer on my remaining 50%, but with stipulation that my build be ready this weekend. You are a better man than I!

Seriously though, this is great to clarify and dispel any forum rumors or misinterpretations.

Going to go ahead and guess my post got taken out of context. First I had heard of the 75% thing was in her email to me, but posted the condensed statement from Cindy just to make folks on here aware that was now something that was occurring.

Did you get a response from SP about your water intrusion issue?

Looking at pix it seems like majority has a red brake light. I have a clear brake light that lights up red. Who else has a clear brake light?

Per a SP email earlier this week, they laid out the development pathway for other Truck fitments. Based on my interpretation of the data, the Gladiator fitments is furthest ahead and will be next up followed by the Colorado Short Bed, and Tundra Crewmax after that.

Not sure what that means regarding delivery dates for those with any of these trucks (I have a Tundra, and I’m concerned) , however they do mention that the first customer builds will be ready around 6-8 weeks from a successful production sample.
For reference they it looks as though the Gladiatior is around the halfway point of development right now, with modest progress on Colorado and almost nothing on Tundra.

Hope this helps for any uninformed out there. They mention that other fitments will be added, but these are the next 3 up currently.

That’s how I took it. 3rd gen Tacoma are by far the majority which is why we see so many. now starting to see mire 2nd gens and I expect a lot more soon including mine as they had held them fir the redesign. if all goes well should be getting the call for install soon. They are shooting for mid March which will also have @frenchee 1st gen.

And my 1st Gen too. I'm hoping for mid-March or early April based on what Cindy said when I paid my 50%.

nice! i pinged her a few days ago to check since I still need to get the new rear and interior back in and still looking at mid march. We should be pretty close. I will be bummed if it goes to April but not really a big deal at this point just itching to get this sucker on.

Yeah, I have an unfounded theory that they’re going to try to schedule the 3 of us one after the other for ease of fitment. Helps me sleep.
