    In theory it should.
That's what I was planning on doing. Some simple custom rack that uses similar.

I feel for you guys that are trekking for the install. Tough to plan without much notice.

But... I live across town and it's still plenty difficult

Yes. Definitely a concern. Speaking with Cindy, they would rather be holding a finished product for us longer than rush to fill a promised install date.

It was pretty quick in retrospect. Warranty so first in first out. 1 week there, shipped back a week later but tools 2 weeks more due to weather. Installed last week and realized a part was missing if so waiting on them to ship it to me. Should have been back in and on the road more or less on Sunday. I also still need to out seats and interior back in the truck. I’m about to roll up on milk crates for pickup.

Dig that black and gray Whup! Is your truck bed a 5.5? Sorry, I'm not a Taco guy. If you feel like posting, could you post a side shot? I'm trying to see how the front/top overhang looks on a 5.5 bed truck.

    Thanks, have a great trip!

I want to reignite the discussion about roof racks under the overhang. Presumably you want to make that call before the SP is installed, as I imagine it would next to impossible to install afterwards. Something about the gap looks unsavory to me (I have a Tundra so not even sure what the size of the gap will be at this time). Also not excited to drop $$$ on a rack for 75% to become unusable. Anyone have a solution? Something like the Alu-Cab Khaya slide out table would cool.

Def like the idea of this. I was thinking of storing a take or something. I just don’t know what the real estate looks like.

most are cutting them short and only use the unused space in the front of the cab on most trucks. 2nd gens for sure will neer use it. I plan to cut my existing prinsu to use what I can from it. You also want to consider flexion of the bed if its too close. which then will be all bad.
