Just keeping checking in here. I got lucky when I posted up I was interested as well. Another TW member remembered I was looking and tagged me in a post when he saw someone selling their spot.

Sweet, thanks. I have to say I'm tempted by the GFC just because the forum is such a good resource but SP just fits what I want

What vehicle do you have? That likely will be the biggest determining factor. Spots are not all chronological if its a format they don't have ready. Lots of good info here, gfc, wedge life, vagabond. its all pretty universal too.

So I did a bit of plug and play with various components. No issues when just battery and charge controller are connected together, and seems to be no issue when solar is plugged in as well. I didn't get too far from home though so I'll test this again next time I'm further away. It seems like the issue is when I hook up the cable from the alternator. That's not a cable I can really re-route anywhere else, so if it's correct that is the cause I'll have to try the RF chokes or some other type of shielding.

Not really that's a plug-and-play design.I know they are focused on some of the other ones now since all they have been pumping out are tacomas but having a tacoma means no R&D needed just the waiting game.

haha. This was a concern of mine when I had a crappy RTT on my ARE shell.
I've field tested this camper many times. Let's say I'm in a young and new relationship, so without getting into too many details, the camper is incredibly solid lol.
I was impressed. The wedge shape is a bit annoying sometimes but just work with it.

Fantastic news ! Ha! Thanks. Its funny, but was a legit question that popped into my head. It should be included in the FAQ section of the site.

On the topic of sealing the front of the camper, would someone be kind enough to take a pic looking down the front side of their X1?
I sealed the side bed caps and front cap yesterday in preparation, I have an idea about using black waterproofing tape on the front edge of the camper to prevent egress but would love to see how much room there is to work with. In my mind, two people could stretch the tape across the roof and walk it along, keeping the non sticky side against the truck, and lower it into place along the gap. Gorilla waterproof patch is incredible stuff.

There have a been a few people asking recently but honestly they seems to be 6 months or less on Tacoma setup (minus supply delays) took me about 8 months and my buddy was about 5-6 months.

Any ideas on how long it has been taking for trucks that are still in development(i.e. non-Tacoma's)? I saw the gladiator and Tundra recently came out. I would expect to see the Colorado/Ranger/Frontier based on people ordering.

No idea only SP would know but likely longer depending on orders. Best option is to send them a message.
