Does anyone know if the 4 or even the 6 gang aux beam switch panel will fit in any of the premade slots or is everyone using Switchpro?

    2 subject post:

    1) Is anyone savvy enough with a 3D printer to rig up some of these for the SP? It's a neat solution to the drainage coming into the cab. Condensation in the morning gives me a nice shower the first time I brake hard in the morning  https://joshedgardesign.com/products.html#!/GFC-DripRail/p/340251088/category=113909263

    2) I'm among the many who are not well versed in electrical...Is there a guide/diagram for hooking up the Blue Sea plug straight to the battery system of the truck? I got the X-1 brake/running lights rigged up with 1 extra wire available and I'm wondering if that needs to be hooked up to the Blue Sea.

I am. But I wouldn't print that. I'd just grab some thin sheet metal and some shears. Cut and bend.

Agree on some thinner sheet metal, the piece linked looks unnecessarily thick. For initial design maybe 3D printing would be useful. In hindsight I might try something similar with flexible cutting board-ish material just to see how silly it would look.

It's going to look silly when it starts to bend slightly when it sits in the sun, but whatever. I'd put a camera on it when you're on the highway to see if it's just flopping around in the wind.
With that, to make a 90 degree bend in a flexible cutting board, just score a line on one side and bend it that way. If you cut it all the way through, you'll have to tape or something.

Re #2, the third wire is for the third brake light. You’ve got running light power, brake light power, and ground. There was a little color code card in my SP box, near the beers lol. The Blue Sea you have to wire yourself. My truck already had a hot wire running from the positive on the battery to the back. I connected that to the positive terminal and connected a ground wire to the ground in the brake light.

I'd reached out to Josh recently to see if he was interested/willing to make that rail for the X1 and got a 'no.' Glad to see others are looking into this is well.

Last update was a month ago estimating completion end of July/beginning of August. Has anyone received a more recent update from them? I’m wondering if they got the parts they were waiting for. Thanks!

Reached out Friday and got a lengthy response. TLDR:

Aluminum extrusion is made and was supposed to arrive in shop Friday 7/16. They did not get it yet and It's apparently supposed to arrive any day.

The rest of the camper (at least mine, according to josh) is made. Once they get the extrusion, they will hustle to complete.

I did see somewhere- I wanna say Instagram post/story stacks and stacks of completed canopys.

Very true. You can see the stacks in the background here when I got mine installed.

Same thing that happens with all wedge campers that the overhang is wider than the width of the cab... Water drips off the top (or in the SuperPacific case, down the extrusion to the front of the wedge where the hinge is when open). Then when you open your doors on the truck cab, water drips vertically down perfectly onto your seats.

You can see the general issue in my video of OTHER_BRAND_CAMPER on my 1st gen. The only differences are that the different brands overhang to a different spot and slightly different width, but the all drip onto the seats when you open your doors.

I am taking time off next month for a road trip. I'm praying one of those green ones is mine and that road trip is to Oregon.

I can confirm. There are even more stacked up there now than in the pics above. I was there last Tuesday for my install. Just about had to install outside due to all of the tops stacked up. They aren't happy about this. They'd like to get these done as much as the new owners would. All I can offer is hang in there folks.

Has anyone figured out the correct Yakima or Thule rack options to get a rack up on top in the T track?
