I haven't done any extra sealing on my 2nd gen, just the powdercoated bed rail covers with aluminum tape underneath. No leaking or dust from the front or sides - even at the car wash.

Had my appointment with Spencer, Pete, and team today for the install. Can't say enough good things about the team. Extremely friendly and nice to talk to.

It sounds like my truck is the first to do green/quicksand color combo and I absolutely love it. The new blue color is a stunner too

My install is Monday, should I be doing any prep before for leaks? I did not have any leaks with my Snugtop.
    Thanks! Will post pics!

    none, yet!
Today was a great day! Spencer is the nicest guy, and honestly so is the entire crew! I was so excited these are really the only pictures I took. Installed on a 2020 DCSB TRD Sport, total wait time was 8 months from deposit back in middle of Dec. Cant wait to get out and use it!

Yup I would. I didn't have any leaks on my snugtop either since it fully covered the bedrail caps. The SP does not cover the bedrail caps like the snugtop does. I also live in a state that rains 9 months out of the year so I didn't want to have regrets of not doing it. Hope that helps.

Question. Does the roof top shark fin antenna need to be removed prior to installation?

Looking forward to spotting the first blue camper, did I miss it?

I think I regret not going with white. The gray looks awesome, but my cheapo fridge has to work hard, and can't put my dogs back there if it's sunny and over 85 outside. Govee bluetooth temp sensor works great to monitor temps back there.

Anyone install some slider windows on the side doors yet?

Anyone know how the 3rd brake light on the super pacific functions? Lights up only when braking, running light, reverse, etc

Any chance you can take of pic of which wires you spliced into? I wired my like my old GFC and only have the brake light and no running lights.

What year is your truck? I assume you have a Tacoma... but you should clarify.

i’m curious as to why one would use a CHMSL as a running light..?

i don’t know that it’s necessarily illegal, but it’s surely not the intended use/function of that light... i’d probably be confused, at least initially, if i got behind someone with a lighted CHMSL that was not braking.
