My windows are in fact glass. They provide just as much glare as plexiglass for sure. I have both windows and can confirm you can’t see a damn thing out of them via the rear view mirror.

Also, at times my auto dimming feature on my rear view mirror doesn’t work as well as it used to before the X1 camper.

I've got plexi windows and can see through my rear view mirror decently well. It's definitely a bit darker due to the tint and multiple layers but usable. If I could have picked, I would have gone for glass. Tried and tested on vehicles. Doesn't scratch. But yea, the plexi is holding up fine so far.

Installed a roof rack based on @ScenicCityOverland's design. Thanks for the inspo! Main use case for me is as a lumber rack. Huge upgrade from stacking 4x8 plywood sheets all cockeye in my 5' bed.

Has anyone here rigged up wind fairing? Thinking about making my own out of plexi. Curious if anyone has worked out a design already. Thanks!

Just picked mine up last week #102. My windows are not glass.

I bought the camping package so I’ll be there somewhere in the camping area. I thought I heard SP say they were going to be at both Overland Expos mountain west and west. If not, I’ll be representin’ lol

I should of added I’m +3” or more in the rear with stock rake so the height of the window is what makes it hard to see anything shorter than a semi in my rear view mirror.

Just snagged a camping ticket as well. Should be there the full weekend with camper #12 if anyone wants to check it out. Still pretty new to the rig, but the previous owner did some great mods.

Righto, if that last climb to Elizabeth Pass doesn't jar the SP loose nothing will.
Those washboards and babyheads have been pushing my truck sideways on the straightaways.

Would some polarized window tint on the rear window help with glare?
Seeing out the back was a selling point for me considering my softtopper 'windows' are like looking through a potato camera.

You can see out the back, just not as well as you would like…. Mine is tinted slightly. The hatch window is very narrow, which limits your field of view.

I can't answer this question, as I was wondering the same. I ended up going with a Prinsu so I could put it on now and feel confident it would fit, after talking to Josh and an Instagrammer who had the same DCLB as I do and Prinsu under.

FWIW this is what Josh from SP said:

Thanks for the info, it was very helpful. I would assume it would be roughly right around those numbers from .25" - .50" as well.

With the goal of still being able to park in the garage I need to lower my ovs 270 LT awning. I used some aluminum to lower the brackets. It’s pretty rough but hopefully it’ll work. I might run into an issue opening the door. I’ll test fit it when I get some time.
