Have you tried unclipping one at a time to see if it stops? I have 2 on each side but each side wired separate so left alley and right alley on BD S2’s no issues. where is the hissing sound?

forgot also on a switch pro.

I’ve heard my led bar make noise when I dim in super low on my Spod. I’d guess you need thicker wire as the lights aren’t getting enough power.

You might check the current draw with a clip around amp meter. If your wire is very long, that can also reduce the amp flow.

Does anyone know what t nuts or hardware will fit in the slots of the X1? I'm at work and want to make a quick ghetto mount before we leave for KOH today but left the truck at home.

I just checked the spec on mine and I think its 19mm long, 8mm wide, 5.2mm tall to the flat portion of the t nut (not the threaded neck)

I also have a set that's 16mm long and they work as well.

cool thanks. just trying to figure out what bolt I can run in there temporarily.. I think a 5/16 will work. head of the bolt measures .490" across the flats and is about .200" tall.

When I unplug 2 of the 4 it stops. If I unplug just 1 of the 4 the sound level goes down a little bit. The sound comes from all 4 pods if plugged in. I think the length of wire is too long for 14 gauge as others have mentioned. I didn’t wire it in the most efficient way to minimize length. Debating now if I should try shortening the length of wires or just use two separate switches.

why not run two separate wires to the same switch? total draw will be the same, but you wont be loading 1 wire for 4 lights, but 2 wires for two lights instead.

@99ranged do you mind sharing a pic of how you mounted the lights to the track? I have some SSC2's and thinking of something similar but can't figure out the best method to mount them? Thanks

Pat I can send you some stuff from Mcmasters. I mounted my S2 in the slots. You may already have some.

I mounted them in the slots with M8 button head screws (12mm length) and t nuts. I tried some t nuts from mcmasters but they were a little too tall and didn’t fit.

Nice that's pretty much what I did as well. I would also suggest the Leitner t-slot covers. You can run your wires under it and they fit like a glove.
