Come to think of it, wind faring/rain gutter/light bar mount.

I'm officially on the waitlist. Will be going for the green/tan combo on my cement shortbed.

I'll bring this design up. I don't know how much harder it would be to incorporate those type of end corners in with the fairing. I am a fan of the 3 in one type of fairing with light mounts. Our parts show up in 2 days last I checked. Hope to have the prototype installed before the weekend.

Is there a hole already in the SP to run power from the truck battery to the USB/12 v connection?
Or how is everyone getting power/charging into it?
How about from the solar panel to the charger/battery?
    Thanks for any input!

I drilled a hole through the left rear corner and brought power up through there, but 1st Gens have the SP secured to the bed with drilled holes anyway, so I figured one more hole wouldn’t hurt. As to routing solar, there’s a hole with a rubber plug under the overhang at the front that leads right into the upper wiring channel. Hope that helps.

On third gen's there is also a gap between the front bed rail cap and the side bed rails at the front. I ran both my solar cables and my alternator cable through that.

Good to know. Does anyone here make a wiring harness to go from stock battery back to the SP supplied 12 v and usb plug? I’m not that handy with electrical but I’d buy a harness and install it. Thanks

I have a SP deposit/position that I need to sell. I paid my deposit on 11-11-2020 for a build that is not in production at this time. This positions should get you very close to the front of the production line on current models. Thanks, K

    Lol. Well well well.

There was someone selling their spot.. but I think it's gone already. They do pop up.. that's how we cut in line to get ours. I'll keep an eye out.

I've been eyeballing these and GFC for a while. I like MrE30 Alucab on his long bed. But, just way to bulky on SB and what I end up on as for trails.
Also, messaged a few people with older ads up for selling GFC v1. So, we'll see what happens.

I agree.. personally not a fan of the Alucab size and aesthetics honestly. Wouldn't work for us. I do like their rear door though. Ha.
