That's how I've had it for the last year. Just starting to get a little saggy and I figured they're pretty cheap to upgrade.

Also depends on what you’re rocking. I have 4 boards and the EE mount so it takes a toll

Wanted to share a little update on my build etc.
First of all, got some great news over the weekend. My install is scheduled for late October!!!

Been working hard to get things ready... First step was to install a bed-rug to make my interior feel more like a "room" than a truck bed (plus easier in the knees/feet to get in and out). From there, I started building out my interior. I'm making a platform over the wheel-well on the drivers side for a fridge (Nat-Luna 60L dual zone with tilting slide) and also a bench in the back with storage underneath for chilling out and as a "bed" for my son and/or dogs. One of my key design considerations was to have the truck bed as a chill-out area for cold nights and when camping in areas w/ a campfire ban (watch some netflix on the ipad)
, but also have a spot where I had full standing room when the top is open and/or room to move around if I want to chill back there with the top in the down position as well (why a Decked type system wouldn't work).
    tundra bed.jpg

As you can see, there is a cut-out in the back left for a 5g water jug and I plan on getting one of those USB powered "faucets" posted about 5-10 pages back in the thread. Camp chairs will go under the fridge platform on the left and I've found some plastic totes that will go under the rear bench platform. The supports are rough 2x4 and 2x3 in this image, but I've given them a coat of black stain/poly since I took this pic last week.

In the back right (behind the wheel-well) I'll have a 180 amp-hour Lithium battery along with a redarc BCDC charger and at least 200 (maybe up to 400) watts of solar up top to give me enough juice if I decide to bring along my e-MTB (want to be able to charge the batteries completely off-grid).

All of the interior pieces will be secured to the bed using an existing set of L-Track rails I've had since day-one and a handy fitting I found:
(btw, these L-Tacks are SUPER convenient and incredibly strong... Highly recommend. I've used them in the past to secure coolers and stacks of firewood on some ROUGH off-road routes)
    [IMG] [IMG]

Lighting will be achieved using the MattGecko dual red/white LED strips (probably with dimmers)

Well, that's about all I can think of to post right now, but I'm sure there will be a ton of complete build-out images in the next month or two!!

BTW... Don't be jelly of all the space I have in the bed of my Tundy bc I'll be jealous of your Taco's at the gas pump!!

Fair warning. The Matt Gecko LED strips are complete trash. Spend a few extra bucks and get Hard Korr or something similar.

    Sure.
It’s clunky and cheaply put together. The wiring is not well thought out especially when it comes to bringing the upper to the lower, and when set up to look nice and clean there’s not enough wire length to reach the End point. The 22g wires from the led strips don’t pair well with the larger gauge wires they have to tie into. The “grey” wire that connects the power to the upper lights was cheap plastic coated wire that when you try to strip it the copper strips with the plastic. The red LEDs are so bright they don’t work to preserve night vision and require a dimmer that is not included in the kit.
I spent half a day rewiring to add a dimmer, but again with the 22g wires being difficult to work with and limited length I decided to scrap the whole kit rather then continue frustrating myself.
I’m no electrician by any means, but I’ve wired enough things that this isn’t simply user error.

Im selling my 80/20 roof rack set up. I want to park the truck in the garage, and cant w this set up. 3 cross bars and all the mounting brackets/hardware. Nothing wrong with it. I just think im going to make my own that are lower. Its been on the truck since july.
    I paid 320 plus shipping.
No clue what shipping would cost now, but ive shipped atuff lately and dont want to be 100 percent bent over paying for shipping. So, im asking 280 and ill split shipping costs. Unless you're somewhat near Akron ohio and can pick up or meet me somewhere. Ill be in Donegal pa October 6 thru 10 as well.
Payment would be mailing me a check or paypal friends and family.
I can post/provide photos of the parts laid out later if needed.

Find out what shipping is to 83873 and if it's not crazy expensive I'm interested.

So I got the GTFO Hard Korr lights and have been really satisfied with their performance so far. The brackets they come with are incompatible with SP, but I drilled holes in the plastic clips and with a couple of bolts, washers, and wing nuts I got them attached to the shell. Wiring was quick and what's really great is I can daisy chain more lights in the future which I plan on doing. The switch with three light modes and dimmability is great.

Another vote for the HardKorr. First of all, the amber color is a great option for buggy areas. I split the rear from the two sides in case I only wanted tailgate light. Also, I ended up mounting them with VHB tape inside the door jambs. I originally mounted them with velcro so I could move them out onto the open doors as needed for some exterior light, but I found that I rarely moved them because just enough light splashes out. Also they kept coming loose from the velcro when off-roading. Just my 2 cents.

Anyone who was excited to waiting for the drain pieces.m and is also still running a prinsu rack (2nd gens). The drain pieces will not fit out of the box. You will need to trim more if running a modified prinsu rack. it sticks out a lot more and eats up the space between the rack and X1. Bummed to say the least.

Strike 2 today Also picked up the CVT Ladder to help with the kids on trips but can’t get to the mounts either due to the awning or my max tracks on my X1 doors. I need to have the ladder stick out more or see if air can modify something where the awning is. I had considered the GFC Mantis setup but it’s $$$. Should have done that initially as a I think that would work.
