I have some of the same thoughts about the rear end. Will be interesting to feel out some upgrades feel back there with a Super Pacific on the back.

I hit the bumps on everything with the stock Sport with a Flippac. Added 5100s, SuperBumps and had Deaver add a leaf, so I fixed the bumping as I got the GFC.

I currently have some rake without anything in the back. Hoping the X1 isn’t too much heavier than projected so I’m sitting level. Then a shock relocate, hangers, and might even box as well

You should do any relocate before install the camper, much easier to do with the bed removed then from underneath.

Nice! good to see the S2 as I have some there currently on my prinsu so checks that of.

Weight wise I posted up in the other wedge setups. Def hit up a cat scale and get weighted. I have a camper and full amored no wedge yet and my truck sits at 7k lbs. its nuts. (will see about slimming down) but i am on a Dakar w/ extra leaf and them leafs are inverted. Deaver quoted me for 1800 over stock custom leafs. You likely will want to look into that as most folks running these even the stg 3 are not enough especially if the truck it built out.

Electrical wise, makes sense. The solar is not a big deal you can run that back I have 200 watts on mine now. I have an extra panel ran back there for aux power which would be exposed so will need to handle that.

Anyone know the roof area up top on the cab? I plan to replace the full Prinsu with a shorter one or the Sherpa version. there is a GFC and vagabond version. Vagabond seems longer so less space for a rack

There is very little real estate on a DCSB, with a long bed its a bit better. With a GFC on a short bed the tent extends almost to the forward edge of the rear doors, the SP seems a little bit longer.

yah I hear ya there. A few companies make them sized for GFC for vagabond and SB vs LB. I want to see what real estate I will have. Depending on the cost I may just cut my prinsu. But I can prob sell it and get one of the other versions and get some money back.

Yeah that’s one thing I liked about the Vagabond was that it cleared the whole Prinsu Rack on the 3rd Gen. Hopefully they added an extra inch on the height of the 2nd Gen and not just use the 3rd Gen measurements because the 3rd Gen bed is about 1” taller.

If you already have a rack you will probably come out ahead just cutting your's down. I sold mine for $500 which is an average price for a used one, the martin rack is $425 plus shipping.

man that would be clutch if they did. so it clears on a 3rd gen? Im going to assume were screwed out on the 2nd since most companies the 2nd and 3rd are the same setups.

If you have the ability to cut it down yourself it would do that, you will be able to match your camper better than any of the currently available racks do, and then sell your extra bars for about the same difference.

Have you looked into the prices of the short racks? They’re not much cheaper than a full sized rack despite being much less rack. If you already have a Prinsu your best bet would probably be just cutting it down. Doubt you’d come out much ahead selling and buying another.

yah thats what I was thinking. I have no problems cutting up my truck or parts but still wanted to see the options. Digging the Sherpa version a bit.

on a DCSB and vagabond drifter there is not much space up there, with the gfc there is def more room - the gfc is matched to a https://martinor.com gfc rack if you have one already thou cutting it would be a good way to go. not sure how far the over hang is on the super pacific - but i have a mate who is about to get his, so stoked to see it for sure

can see the difference in roof space here - drifter is on relentless/vagabond bed rails and has a https://totallyradproducts.com bullet cover
