Also gotta remember which entune package you're getting. The entune packages are $680 (ED), $1265 (EE), $2330 (EN), so it makes a pretty big difference. In nov I took delivery of my 2014 DBLB 4x4 Trd Sport with the EN JBL package.
Sticker was 35, 460, and got it for that price OTD. Yeah its a bit much for just a truck, but i don't want to mess with any audio stuff so i wanted that extra bass.

Finally heard some details from the dealership that is expecting delivery of the truck i want in a few weeks. They are due to learn the VIN this week, however, they do already say they have a price for the vehicle. This is in Southern California, here is the vehicle:

Spruce Mica (a real b**ch to find)
4x4 Double Cab, long bed, TRD Sport, tow package, equipped with entune premium with JBL and navigation, carpet floor mats+ door sill protector, exhaust tip, and front skid plate.
Internet sales person says MSRP is $35765, and internet price is $34551.

According to true car.com, this price is dead on for what I should be paying in the area. Of course, everyone on here is paying less, though from other parts of the country. I want to add the TRD exhaust, which she says will be in addition, but I will get it at "employee cost", which, as of yet, is unknown, I would guess around $500.

So, looks like the final price would be $35551 plus TTL, which, per DMV will be about $3130, so, yikes, $38681 out the door.

Internet sales person said no negotiations on the internet price.

So, is this way high? Is there truth to "no negotiation on internet prices?"

Damnit, this seems high. Input from others?

    Thanks in advance,

There is negotiation if you are prepared to walk. I'm emailing dealers within 200 miles of me and I'm only dealing with them via email. The one to sell the most below invoice gets the sale.

It's actually quite simple when you don't need it and/or you're prepared to walk/keep looking. I am prepared to order the truck I want if it's not already in the system.

I bought my truck a couple months ago, 2014 DCSB SR5 4x4 V6 S/T. After a 4,000 down payment, a 4,000 trade in, plenty of haggeling, and a military rebate I was financing 20,000. So overall I got the 31,000 truck to 28,000. Alot of money to be in the hole at 20 but I thought I deserved it and i'm confident I got a great deal being the first new car I had owned. Most others were cash in hand purchases. This life style of never going out, eating at the chowhall and the daily shake weight excersise without the shake weight has allowed me to acquire alot of loots.

Seems high to me. "No negotiation" is BS. Oooooooo!...the magical Internet Price. Either they're bluffing or they aren't hungry at this time of the month. Wait until the last 3 days of February and I bet they change their tune. Go to www.thisamericanlife.org and download the podcast "129 Cars".

Im afraid that the problem is that they know they have the only one in spruce mica on the whole west coast, and the only color I will buy... Not sure I can actually walk as a part of negotiation. Found the same truck in the wrong color at a different dealer with an internet price of 32960. Grrr.

No, you can order from any dealer. If they really want your business they will negotiate on price.

I don't know what part of Southern California you live in but there has to be 5+ dealerships within 100 miles. There is $2k mark up in that truck all day. If they won't negotiate on an order tell them to pound sand and go to the next one. Dealers never like orders but it's a car deal and worst case scenario they have a spruce mica bada#% ride that will sell super fast.

So that color alone is going to cost you $2,591?

Fuck that take a second color.
