I don't have any paperwork on the guarantee yet but I know a few ppl who have bought new Toyota's from this dealer and they say you just have to keep records of routine maintenance. This dealer also has a no haggle pricing policy so I don't know/think that they will come down much. I plan on keeping this truck for 300,000 miles or longer if I can, so I hope the guarantee is legit. I know I can find a cheaper sticker price. But with the guarantee and 0% it's probably a wash. They said it would take 3-4 weeks for it to get here which is going to seem like 3-4 months haha

I am very surprised by these prices, even with my wheeler dealer attitude there's no way in Utah I'd get the discount a lot of you are. It's almost worth it for me to take a flight to the east coast to buy a new Tacoma.

Dealers here in Utah price theirs OVER retail prices and DO NOT budge below retail. They don't have too, they sell.

Dealers here in PA do the same thing, you just have to keep searching. The first three dealers I talked to wouldn't budge off of MSRP (one of the three came down $500 ) and all three left me walk out of their dealership, saying that they will easily sell them to someone else for the same price.

Eventually I kept calling dealers on the phone farther and farther away. Buy the time I got a couple hours away, I found a dealer who was the largest volume Toyota dealer in my tri-state area. They had a new no-haggle price policy for phone inquires, and offered me a custom ordered Tacoma for 2.5k under MSRP over the phone. :)

I think dealing over the phone is much easier than dealing in person when you know exactly what you want. You can put calls out to the closest 5 or 6 dealers, and then sit back in the comfort of your living room as they work for you and all scramble to get back to you with their lowest price. They also can't manipulate you as well when your not there being held hostage in their dealership.

    Baierl Toyota in Mars, PA

Just call them up, ask for the sales department, and then tell them the exact model, color, options, etc. Tell them it has to meet all of those specs or your not interested. When they couldn't find exactly what I wanted anywhere in the country, they offered to order it for me at no cost difference just a long wait.

    No problem!

FYI - I ordered my 13' in September of 2012. They told me it was the perfect time to get an order in, because they had just submitted a large order for the next model year. So this is a good month to call if your thinking about ordering a hard to find color with specific options.

They actually took a similar truck that they had already ordered but hadn't hit the assembly line, and they changed it through their computer system to a different color and added the vinyl flooring option and accessories that I wanted.

When I see a price like that, my first thought always goes to a salvage title. And if it doesn't show on the title, someone bought it at auction, fixed it themselves and are trying to turn it around for a quick sale.

I negotiated mostly by email once I found a dealership willing to order what I wanted.

I told them I wanted a 2014 double-cab, long box in MGM. The only options I wanted them to order were the TRD Sport package and the tow package. After some back and forth we agreed on a price of $31,750 for what I wanted and they agreed that if it came with anything above what I wanted it would be thrown in for free. Took 6 weeks to get it.

Ended up with Entune Plus radio (should have been +$650) and floor mats/sill protectors (+$195) thrown in.

'14 DCLB TRD Sport with tow package = $31,750 plus Tax, Title, License.
