    Some stuff...
$32K and change for my 2013 with TRD Quickshifter, Wheel Locks, Hood Protector, Tube Steps (Black Powder Coat) & TRD Cat-BackExhaust System that I ordered back in May and finally arrived in early Sept. It would have arrived in mid July, but they ordered a Sport instead of an Off Road. :frusty:

Ordered it through the Costco vehicle program and the dealer knocked some $ off for ordering the wrong model. I knew the 2014's were coming out but all things considered I'm happy with it.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

As for the Door sill protectors, they were an option installed from the distributor. They do not have "Tacoma" written on them, as I believe the OEM parts may have. *shrug*

Those are much nicer than my "Tacoma" protectors.
Mine are more like anti-skid stickers than they are sill protectors... they don't wrap around the edge.

I got a call this morning from my dealership. They have a customer that is looking for a truck like mine, and the dealership is having trouble finding one at auction. I let them sucker me into coming in and let them appraise my truck. They said they could get me into a 2014 without my note going up. I was thinking about doing it, until I did the math on what I was giving up, about $11,000 of monthly payments that I've already made on the truck. I only have 11,230 miles on it, so it would be like leasing a truck for $1/mile.

Does anyone know if the 2013 Weathertech digital fits will fit for 2014? Weathertech is saying it will be 6 weeks before authorizing them for 2014.

    No clue.

They've changed the floor mat securing pin configurations and locations a few times. If they didn't change that, then the '13 will fit the '14.

I got Aries 3D mats instead of Weathertech. I ordered the ones that are made for 2013s, however they fit perfectly in my 2014.
So i imagine the Weathertechs will work just fine.

New to the forums here. I'm currently negotiating the purchase of a:

    2014 Tacoma
    Access
    4x4, V6, MT
    TRD Sport
    Tow pkg
    Entune Audio plus

The first quote from the dealer was broken down as:

    TrueCar Pricing: 29,519.00
    + FL State Tire/Battery: 6.50
    + FL Electronic Filing: 24.00
    + Dealer Fee: 699.50
    + FL State Tax (6%): 1,814.94
    + County Tax: 75.00
+ New Florida Tag: 450.00 (110.00 if you are transferring a current Florida tag)
    Out the door price: $32,588.94

It seems like a pretty honest offer; kind of took me by surprise. Yes it's nice they're starting with that 'Truecar' price but their crazy dealer fee does a good job of offsetting that.

The price before tax/tag is $30,249. MSRP incl. options is $31,285. I feel obligated to make at least one counter offer. Should I? Or should I just take it?

    Thanks for any advice.

I see you are in the Panhandle of FL. Not sure of your exact location, but I had a great experience at Mariana Toyota. They beat the true car pricing by Panama City Toyota by $300 and also gave me an additional $500 in military discounts. It's just something to think about. If you have any indepth question, feel free to PM me.
