    So lets have it. For the benefit of everyone that might break the same thing out on the trail. So that we might prevent it before it happens. Or at least have the spare part and the right tools to get us home

    What have you broken? And how did you break it.

    Not so much concerned with things that wore out, but those that were actually damaged and needed to be replaced. Especially if they left your vehicle inoperable.

    I haven't actually broken anything on the trail yet! But cv axles are the most common part to break, especially on auto rigs. I have two friends that have broken over a dozen each. For manuals an overheated clutch is really common too.
