I'm sure some quality control guy or mod gets an email every time you post that. Don't be rude.

Until you've tried both. You really don't have much opinion. My buddy's access cab 2.7 5spd sr5 isn't slow but it kind of turd-like compared to my v6

I've driven both. I would like to drive a 4cly with the 5spd auto though.

I have driven both lol. I like the 4cyl for better fuel economy. I don't tow anything or have a desire to go over 265s so I don't need the bigger engine.

Well you live in rolling hills, i live in the mountains. The fuel economy is a little better in the v6 will pulling hills all the time

Might as well just get an F150 ecoboost instead of a v6 taco. It'll blow a 4.0 away while giving you more room, more towing capacity, and the same mpg.

Might as well get a silverado with the 6.2L if you want power and still get decent mpg

Looks good man! I see you say you're going with 265/70/16. Why not go up to 265/75/16?

I'm gonna try and get the 265/75/16, but I can only find them e rated, which is overkill and more weight. I still have to go to my local tire shop to see if he has any ideas..was wanting all terrains like general grabbers or I know the OP, Sam, wanted Firestone destination ats. Which I have to say Sam, they're riding pretty good right now as I take a 700 mile trip in my dads f150 loaded down

But if i were you Sam, I'd try and get 255/75 to 85/16. Better for snow and offroad

I was talking to the OP but thats cool too haha. Interesting. I've never had a problem finding them C rated. Maybe thats because its the General Grabbers.

Yeah, that's possible. What do you run? That's what I want, c rated. Lol Sean, your tires are from Walmart and the closest one I could get those at is 23 miles from where I live

If I were to get a fullsize I would get a Toyota Tundra with the 5.7 or a diesel. But diesel is a whole different ballgame in itself. Powerstroke FTW!

10ft bed? That's pussy shit. 1800ft bed FTW

I'm not very good with tires, what's the difference? I mainly want to go with 265/70 to make the tires a bit bigger, more aggressive. Not looking for anything too wide though, I'm on stock suspension and don't want to rub. I don't do any hardcore offroading, just occasional trail riding. Mostly freeway/pavement driving.

IMO the 4banger manuals are better than the autos, as the gear ratios are better in the manual and you have an extra gear over the auto trans..... plus my 6cyl had a hell of a time keeping up with a little turbo's nissan the other day.... dude was fast.

265/75 is almost a 33" and 265/70 is like a 31.8", so difference in height. I think you should go with 255 cause its a little less wide so less power loss
