Just FYI there is a propane powered oven. So if you're truly EAF, you can make fresh cherry/blueberry/berry pie when camping.

Oh also, ive seen a camping propane-powered gourmet pizza grill thing. The one that you use a flat wooden piece to slide the pizza in/out of. Forget the name of the thing currently

I am well aware of the propane oven, was introduced on my first RTT trip when I had a hot cinnamon roll foisted upon me in pity for my last minute pack job breakfast of mountain house. Almost bought one, but it's pretty big.

Never understood the pizza oven. A massive thing that only does 1 job.

You say that, but a hot cinnamon roll when it was in the teens out will change your mind real quick.

Don't, sorry. You wouldn't want to use any pics of mine as a guide anyway. My 12v connections are generally fugly. I don't care because after I have a clean wire I use a good slather of dielectric on everything, don't bother with purtying it up. I do use wire loom on every run and zipties to prevent rubbing.

You can check the 2nd Gen forum for aftermarket inverter installs, there's a few threads.

I wish you the best of luck. That's the purty method, but really I think most people that have tried to go with an aftermarket inverter have been too ambitious, trying to wire in an aftermarket into the factory switch location, and trying to go too high wattage.

Cheap and easy is under the driver seat, turn it on via the inverter's on/off switch. 600W PSW for me, I looked at Tundra, 4Runner, Tacoma forums and that seems to be the max wattage for the factory 130A alternator.

People have upgraded to a 150A, 180A, 200A alternator, dual batts, aux fuse block, Big Three wiring. If that's ok with you. do it.

Ran a drill, vacuum and a dremel tool when I cut the holes for the snorkel. Lived in an apartment complex at the time and didn’t want to run 50-60 feet of power cord from the apartment to the parking area

about a month ago I was camping on the oregon coast. there was a big windstorm that knocked all the power out in the campground. after I bought my tacoma, my sister bought one as well. as I was getting into my truck to go find a coffee stand I was wondering if you could parallel two tacomas!
