Thanks! funny I completely forgot about those until you said that. They must have, which I am fine with. Considering taking off the Tacoma door badges for a cleaner look.

Where are you located that you don’t have a front plate?

Dealer picked me up at the airport. When I arrived at the dealership my Tacoma was sitting in the showroom with a sold tag and my name. It took the salesman longer to drive it to get a full tank of gas than it did to sign the paperwork. Not an ounce of up sale, they didn't try to sale me anything besides the truck at the agreed upon price. I can't say enough good things about Cory and Hall Toyota of Elizbeth City NC. Here it is sitting in the showroom.

I know they have a stamp on the bed, I did not realize they also removed the door badge!

Coggin Toyota in Jacksonville Florida has a Solar Octane just like mine coming in around 40 days....They are a MSRP dealer. I got the call this morning. As of around 10:00 am it wasn't spoken for.

Same for Wyoming, so long as it doesn't come with the plate holder installed from the factory. I specifically requested my truck not have it installed at the dealership, because they usually do it when the trucks arrive. They said they wouldn't install it, and I was lucky enough to see the truck arrive on the carrier for 100% piece of mind.

Wooooowwww. That is the truck my dealer was trying to get for me in AL, but was unsuccessful. Looked up the temp VIN at the time and it was allocated to your dealer. I have an allocation for another, currently due Jan 10th. Congratulations! Love it! Can't wait to get mine.

Hambone72.....Do you remember how long ago that was....I have been trying to figure out how long it sat on the lot before I bought it.

I regret selling my 2017 Inferno. Loved the configuration and color, just hated the transmission and cruise control.

That was October 28th when they initially started trying to get it from Hall. Nov 7th was when my dealer said they couldn’t get it and got me another allocation. The temp VIN on yours said that it was supposed to be built at n the 39th week this year. I didn’t keep up with it after that to see when it got its permanent VIN.

I found it on the spreadsheet _kmg_ has posted here on the board Nov. 18th and reached out to Hall Toyota. Had an offer that I excepted on the 20th. They sent the paperwork next day and I put the check in the mail same day. I didn't want to fly over the Thanksgiving holiday so I waited till the Friday after. I still wonder how long it had been on their lot....?

All I know is that t still had a temp vin on Nov 7th and showed to be in transit to Hall. I saw where it fell off the spreadsheet on the 24th. If it initially showed up on the spreadsheet on the 18th, I’m betting it really didn’t make it onto the sales lot before you made your deal. This is pure conjecture on my part.
