California baby's first taste of "snow" here in Seattle. Odd waking up to a thin layer this morning.

Haven't given it a wash since I drove it off the lot a month+ ago. Nearing 2000 miles but kind of want to wait until we get into spring and decide whether or not I'm going to try and PPF it.

 

Well I am back in forum with a brand new taco.

 

Well maybe... my wife flat out hated Electric Lime. Flat out hated it. Please note I now rock Solar Octane. Happy wife, happy life.

Was at the local dealer yesterday checking into a Rav 4 Hybrid reservation and stopped to talk with the parts manager who drives a Tacoma and is a pretty cool guy. They had gotten in a MT SO Pro and were installing a Westcott Designs lift, 285/75x16 Toyos and Predator Steps- the truck’s already been sold - stopped in this morning to take a look and see if it was done. It’s still in the wash bay and probably will be till the new owner takes delivery, but thought I’d shoot and post a couple of pics. What’s your thoughts on the lift and tires?

Out ice fishing this weekend, and my friend is just starting down the photography and editing road.

 

Did you get your truck from Laramie WY? Just curious. They had one, early on. It was like sept of last year. Or at least they had the allocation then.

 

I did not. I contacted them and they sell at MSRP, but had $4,000 of accessory bloat that they wouldn't come off of. Very nice guy I talked to, but it was cheaper for me to go visit family in Texas and pick mine up down there.

 

Mine is getting some snow time as well.

 

Which tonneau is that? Lomax? Looks awesome!

It is a roll up.
I originally had a sliding one picked out, but when I saw it took basically a foot out of the already small bed I went with this one. It just rolls up over the bed so no sacrificing space.
Only negative - I don’t think I can add a bed rack. So I might add a basket on top.
I’m not too big on adding too many accessories

For anyone looking for a SO manual Rick Hendrick Toyota (Sandy Springs Ga) has two coming in. I have no clue if they still have a market adjustment or junk dealer add-ons.
