"THE ORIGINAL" 2023 TACOMA TRD PRO COLOR "SOLAR OCTANE" THREAD

Coworker had a Camaro in a similar-ish color and it instantly had him missing the car. Pic isn't his, but that car is a 2008, and still looks good. Besides, who cares if it's still cool as long as the owner likes it? Way to much worrying about what other people think these days.

Mine is garage kept so I hope paint fade won't be an issue for mine....But that is what I would worry about with such a bright color. I have zero concern if the fad will fade.

 

Finally got the call. Picking up truck tomorrow afternoon. Just in time for the weekend. First Tacoma so pretty excited to get behind the wheel.

 

Congrats! This is my first Taco as well, and I love it! As long as you know what you are getting and don't have any delusional ideas about what it can do, the Taco is freakin' sweet.

 

If anyone is looking for a solar octane pro, there's one that's unspoken for coming into Mcgee Toyota in NH. I got mine there. They are a no-nonsense dealer. Ask for James D and tell him I sent you. I'll cross post elsewhere

 

I heard from the Hendrick dealer today…. They do not ad a market adjustment but they do ad dealer installed, tint, LoJack and wheel locks. I didn’t ask what the cost was, they have an automatic in the lot now.

Picked up wifes RCI sliders today, and put on my tent. Taking the boys ski camping this weekend. Over night lows of 14 degrees! It's spring time!!!!!!!!

I put a deposit on one last May and it’s still not here. I’m told it will likely arrive mid April. Still not built.

 

Yup, you should confirm the dealer has one allocated for you. Deposits are meaningless without a matching allocation and I doubt they do allocations three months out. I had my deposit on my Pro for two years before dealer had allocation for what I wanted.

 

I got my allocation pairing two months ago actually. It’s been a long time waiting.
