That Raptor will be a nice addition to your already ridiculous garage.

Keep me in mind if you choose to change your wheels. I'm looking for a second matching set for winter use.

Picked it up from Columbia Gorge Toyota today. Plan on detailing Sunday.

Side note, can anyone confirm that 265/75/R16 is good to go with stock Pro suspension?

Yes, no problem. My TRD Sport is 265/65/R17 stock. I went one size up to 265/70/R17. You going one size up will have no issues as well.

Had a pretty good load on the Tacoma today....Bed extender is a must with 12 foot lumber.

Good to see there's another in the area. I'm in Loveland and just got mine 2 weeks ago today. I've never seen another Tacoma this color, just 4runners. I love this color more and more everyday.

I saw a pic today of a white pro with black lettering inserts on the rear fenders. Has anyone done this on their solar octane? Pics? It looked kinda cool, but I'm a bit of a purist and like the subtle stamped look. Opinions?

There is some discussion about it earlier in the thread. The general consensus seemed to be that it would be a dirt magnate.

From what I have seen, there is a Toyota OEM decal that fits the embossed letters, with the “TRD” in black and the “Pro” in red. I am considering it, bit don’t know how the “Pro” in red will look on the solar octane. Would like to know what others think.

Not sure how the red PRO would look, but these are TVD decals not the raised OEM "domed" letters, before and after. I wanted to keep the embossed look/feel without just filling it in with domed letters. These decals are so thin and smooth they look like the letters were painted from the factory.

Does anyone else have thick like orange peel paint around the bottom of their truck? My wife just noticed it today, I had not. It's rough to the touch, and feels thicker. Like the bottom few inches of the fenders and rockers. Maybe it's to protect against small rocks being kicked up by the tires? I would think these are all painted by robots, so it seems intentional.

Good to know. I don't think it's a flaw, but intentional. All I can think of it's done to prevent chipping. I wonder if all colors have this or just orange.

Thanks. My last truck was a 1976 F250 highboy. It definitely did not have that, and I'm a bit behind the times. Lots of regret selling it last summer...

That lower paint is for increased rock chip protection, or so I was told. It was on our 2022 AG TRD OR and is on our 2023 SO TRD PRO.

    Edit: corrected model year date.
