Got my front windows tinted and the door edges and cups PPF'd today. No photos yet. I'll post some by the end of the weekend.

Husband took off the predator steps— much better! Really loving this color more every day . Was a real pain in the ass to track down one in manual. Totally worth it though !

 

Pulled my Dad’s homemade teardrop camper to a car show today…

 

Here is a better pic of the tinted windows, only tinted the front two.....I went with the pinnacle series ceramic tint 25....It's not as dark as this photo looks.

Well, I finally did it yesterday...I've been looking for several months and never could get a deal worked out, and the local dealer adds $2K to sticker. No thank you!

Found one 90 miles away, not too bad, and got it for $1K under sticker. Still had port adds on it, but no dealership markups; I was good with that and pulled the trigger.

Traded my '21 OR Premium on it...Man, this color is polarizing and crazy at times! Still getting used to it!

Am I crazy getting a '23 so close to the '24 release? I don't know if I trust the turbos that much...I'm old school and like naturally aspirated V6's.

I certainly don't think you are crazy getting the 3rd Gen. I have almost 250K trouble free miles on mine (bought it new Jan of 2019). I don't trust I'd get that out of a turbo - maybe, but I will wait and see others test it first.

A few days ago, I was at different dealers (Ford/Ram/GMC) test driving a few HD (diesel) trucks- not a replacement for my Tacoma -but we own a horse farm and have other vehicles. As I was visiting my Toyota Dealer (they sell Rams as well) they had a 23 Tacoma Pro (White) and 2 Solar ones on the way. I thought about buying one of those as well but I'm older (Boomer) and not sure I can handle the bright colors. My wife has the Lime Rush 4Runner...but she's quite a bit younger than me hahaha.I think I'm going to keep mine and see how many miles I can get out of it...it still looks and drives like new. GOOD LUCK with that beauty of a truck - good call!!

Yeah, I'm Gen X and approaching 50 myself, so I thought that too, like, am I too old for this neon orange? But I liked bright colored clothes back in high school, and I grew up watching the Dukes of Hazzard...so why not, right?? And while silver was a great color, man, when you look in a parking lot, sooooo many cars are white, black, silver, or grey. It can get boring, which this thing is not!

 

A young 57 here with a young family. I'd love that truck and the color but I don't like to attract attention. Real head turner. However, quite satisfied with my boring, mundane, 040, super white.

I hear you on the white, love it - Im in my 60s and I've had a TON of vehicles...almost all have been Silver, Gold or White. When I made the deal for this Tacoma (over the phone) I made the deal for Silver...when I got there they offered me a DEAL for a Calvary Blue (they had 4 Blue TRD Off Road Double Cabs and only 1 Silver).

I got it for 33400 (sticker was around 39900 I believe) - that was quite a bit less than the Silver I wanted. I'm cheap...I was in and out very quickly and when I walked out, my wife (she had driven me there and waited in her vehicle) said: why did they pull the Silver truck away. I said: I bought a Blue one, but to me it is really GREEN (the color of money)...HAHAHA.

I am very boring...we have a horse farm, but every horse I have for myself is always brown.

 

I completed Kelly flats in my solar octane. But I pushed her past her happy performance point. Heart attack hill nearly gave me a fucking heart attack. Was really wishing I had an automatic with all the fancy crawl control. I about shit my pants a few times.

 

HAHAH - thought of you...I went up last week and decided to buy another Tacoma...they had a white pro...had my wife with me...she said you like the Orange don't you, then buy one. I told her I thought it was too loud and might look like I'm going through a mid life (silly term unless I live to be 135-140)...SOOOO
Yep I put a deposit on an orange one. It is due to arrive within 3-4 weeks.

Well my 21 LunaRock tundra Pro is gone. Shipped to the buyer. Waiting on my SO. But the decision was go back to the 4runner. It was tough deciding.

 

Can’t go wrong with the Taco or the 4R…

 

Pshhhhh . Inferno was the best . This is good too. I'm sure it will be a limited color. Toner wise I'm sure it's pricey.
