If you think its perfect then good. My advice is to leave here and never return because if you don't a bunch of whiners are going to try to convince you it is a piece of crap. Run Forrest Run.

For REAL! This site is keeping me from the dealership. Every time I'm set to go check one out, I hop on this site for some info and am scared away! Why am I here today? Oh yeah...thought about getting into one...now I'm freaked out again...dammmit guess I'll keep my Land Cruiser till next year!

I Beg to Differ. Not my Tacoma but I think it is the best one. The green one is closer to mine

The only real problem I have with the 3rd gen is it's paint choices. If you could get a 3rd gen in a a forest green with the red accents and black wheels. Perfect.

You should just keep the Land Cruiser, fix that up, the 2016/2017 paint options are very sharp.

Perfect is a perception of the individual. Is pro perfect to some, yes. Is a 4 cylinder perfect to some, yes. I would hate to make others think of their own Tacomas any less for claiming some kind of superiority. Kinda similar to how some people like to exaggerate flaws to make others believe any new Tacoma is a pos. But this is my two cents.

I sold my mint 3xlocked 93FZJ80 with only 74k miles to purchase my 16 TRD OR 6MT Quicksand, absolutely love the truck but you will always regret selling the LC! Only thing that takes the sting out is the sale funded most of the new truck!!!

About to do the same thing...mint 94 with 122K. Would you do it over again?? I freakin love the 80 as there isn't anything as capable off road, but the "newness", fuel mileage and safety features of newer vehicles just about has me sold. I don't DD the 80, just use it for long trips to the Sierras with a lot of highway drive time.

Nice outback plate I had one on mine too.
The answer is yes but I still have heartburn over it. Those year LCs are about as solid as they come if I had a third bay in my garage I would have probably kept it, don't like my vehicles outside. Bottom line was that I made too much $$$ off the sale not to do it. If you need any tips on pricing it let me know, I learned a lot going through mine.

Best of luck making your decision!

Its not, people here tend to embellish, over complicate/over whine about things.
