Yea it's windy AF here but I'm getting out there in 5 min to start scuffing up some aluminum! I'm off Monday so maybe the wind will be calmer. If not I'm gonna make a makeshift paint booth outta a pop up camping canopy, plastic drop cloths and duct tape and speed clamps. LOL

You’ve all inspired me to do a little painting myself..... totally un-truck related. 72E0068D-76B7-471B-88E5-C0C69DD661FC.jpg889E974A-B747-4184-AA3A-6837EADB6223.jpgA65E8696-2942-4CAD-847D-C69E854BCBE8.jpg

Now, to dig all this sand out of my ears and taint. Fuck sand blasting.

Let’s do it. I’ve got about 900lbs of sand left.

How you liken' it so far? I'm a Sammy fan boy. Ever since the N4. I also have the 12.2 Pro Tab. I think I'm holding out for the N10 though. My 8+ is still fine.

I was supposed to start scuffing up my skids all day but we didn't get back home from errands until 12:30 and I had to fix the garage door. It was in bad shape. I saw that the top panel metal trim at the top was cracked. So I reinforced it with some metal brackets. Took like 2.5 hours but it had to be done. While I was spraying all the rollers with lithium grease, I noticed that the one pulley bolt/nut was so loose it was ready to fall off. That was the problem all along. 5 min fix. Runs like new now. But blew the day. I was able to get the tranny skid and support bar scuffed, and the inside of the IFS skid is done, and the diff diaper is ready, on Monday I'll finish the IFS skid and tranny skid and hopefully I'll be able to get the all primed. Then next weekend I hope to get everything bed lined!

My old ass is so sore right now. Gettin' my drink on, then bed, then up early, wash the truck, then at the bar by noon-ish for our St. Patrick's Day festivities!

What are you and the miss's git planned for tonight and tomorrow?
