    Its an old chevy big block called the w block. 348 was the block used by nascar for many of years.

    I know what both are again chevys in a ford. the Beach Boys sang about the 409. I would love to find an old bubble top with the 409 in it. I was thinking an old flat head ford with webbers or something like that.

    I just have one and it's never going anywhere or in anything too valuable to put in a vehicle. It'd be wayyyyy too big unless you somehow adapted it to a manual trans.
