Nah, I just charge it out over all the jobs we have going on and it disappears. It’s a family business and I’m in the family. It’s a nice perk. I don’t do it very often just because I feel terrible about it, even if they don’t care. But for all the unpaid overtime I work being salaried, it all works out. I always make sure the company comes out slightly ahead. Cuz you know, no company, no more job.

If I remember correctly from the pics I saw and the descriptions, the last time is was just like sunny Florida, zero wind, and oddly no humidity.

Bring your own sleeping arrangement basically. It's primitive camping although there are scattered restrooms and one public shower in the island.

Be prepared for high wind, we learned our lesson this fall.

I love beach camping. What’s the cost involved? Is it like national land or what?

The only cost is the ferry on and off which is like $90 round trip I think. Camping is free unless you get fancy and want to rent a cabin.

You have to reserve a ferry on and off the island. Keep that in mind.

Where does the ferry leave from? The mainland or ocracoke?

Hahahaha. Obviously. I didn't know if you could connect on the ferry from Ocracoke Island, but I was confusing Cape Lookout with Cedar Island. Cedar Island is the one that leaves from Ocracoke.:boink:
