    I wouldn't say that, we had one good day of fishing. We did clean the fish last night and I have Mike's goodie bag of fillets, but he didn't answer my text today about getting it from me.

    I howver had fried drum ribs for dinner tonight :hungry:

    Pan fried up that drum(still not clear if it was the black or the red) last night and it was actually pretty damn good. Not as fishy as I was thinking it was going to be. Kinda like a light chicken

    The smaller filet was black, the bigger one was red. I think the black had just a small piece of skin left on it too.

    It's actually more on the firm side. Not chicken or steak firm but not flaky like flounder.

    We make chowder with the scraps all the time. But it's pretty dense compared to flaky fish like flounder
