Well heres the list
Done:
-remove fox shocks
-remove factory and aal leafs

Need to do:
-Grind, punch, and drill stock shackles
-Install new icon 2.5 rr
-install archive garage shackle flips
-Install dakars

These rivets are a pain though so I only got half way through one side.

 

Well from Friday to Sunday morning I was able to tackle one side of the truck haha! Finally called up my buddy Dan who is opening an aamco in chula vista Dec.3, He came with his master technician which was over kill but definitely sped things up. Hour and a half later the other side was finished! I found out this morning that where the resi meets the shock body I have a very slow and small leak. Guess when they were rebuilt the seal wasn't replaced
So now things to do:
-Fix the shock this weekend hopefully
-Cut the u bolts from my flip kit since there is about an inch and a half of threads showing.
-Buy the 5 inch daystar bumpstop from 4wheel parts since I am currently bumpless

Tips:
-When drilling out the 8 rivets have the right tool! This meaning a corded drill because running back and forth with an 18v dying every 10 minutes doesnt help
-Have a bit meant for drilling metal specifically with cutting oil
-If the shackle looks inverted its not, it will correct itself once tires are on
-Dont do it on the one weekend it rains in san diego

Thanks to @zeekevin and @Tombiology70 for the jack stands and the grinder without those the job wouldnt have been possible

All in all I like the way it drives, much smoother and you can definitely feel it articulating. I did however gain about an 1.5 to 2 inch in the rear. Couldn't fit in the parking structure since my CVT RTT ladder sticks up higher than the rest I was unable to fit. Didnt take a whole lot of pics but I will post some of the ride height and all shortly!

 

Glad to hear it al got done, def one of those things that's hard to explain or show over messesages. Does your Dakar leaf pack have a AAL in it? That might help with the extra lift if you are trying to lower it a bit

 

Not sure I'll count the leafs after work, thinking of moving it forward so I can lower the lift a bit but it's such a hassle

yeah I plan to add some heavier coils up front to get me back to a true 3 inch then see how off it is from level and go from there, or just pay someone this round to do it since it was a PITA to do it the first time around haha

lol! Not completely fixed but almost,
waiting on my retrofit kit from @ambiguous then Ill try tackling those
next year when I have the money gears and rear locker and a compressor

got both lol! Just confused on mounting projector and halos but Im hoping to get some spare headlights from a local to barrow a couple days while I do mine

I hear ya, I had to take a dremel to a pair of brand new Mazda lights to be able to mount the projector, just have some compressed air on hand and wear some gloves to minimize fingerprints.

But test fit twice, cut once.

 

smart, the air compressor will come in handy for sure
