Get it online. Make sure it's 3m or something good quality. If it has little air holes in it that'll be the best for this situation.

Alright everyone the wait is over...

Just got my truck back from @jeffz0rz who I left in charge of not only welding in some frame plates but also welding in two new beefy as hell cross members! It wasn't only that, as you guys know I was hit a month ago and had a slight bend in my frame which threw off the bumper and tow hitch. Well what I saw as a simple hammer it out solution quickly turned into nope never mind I was wrong its much more than that plan! So Jeff when above and beyond and put a 4 inch cut that wrapped around the frame and bend, hammered it out, and then welded it up. SOOOOOO now not only is my frame straight meaning my pelfreybilt HC bumper will mount in straight but I can also drop my truck from a cliff and at least know my frame will stay intact. Sorry to Jeff who had to put up with all my wiring for rear lights, rock lights, bed lights, and alley lights plus he had to deal with my constant texts asking for pictures!

If anyone has been thinking about making their frame a 1000000% harder, better, stronger then hit up Jeff from JTA Metal works! I dropped the truck off Sunday night and got it back yesterday Tuesday night. Extremely fast, super friendly, and went above and beyond my expectations!

The best part is he was able to customize the vented plates to make them compatible with after market shackle flips, meaning now you can have the frame plates welded in and still have access to the shackle bolts! This was something I hadn't even thought about, but as I was talking with Jeff about the possibility of me still moving around the shackle flip he decided to make it easier on my down the road.

Now whenever I need spindle gussets, cam tab gussets, rear shock relocation, or a bed cage built I know exactly where to go!

Hes located in San Diego and has a few group buy and for sale threads on here! Hit him up for some amazing work!

Of course a couple picks he took in between welding!

You know I'm a minimalist, so I have the Mobius Action cam- wide angle up front and standard lens for the rear. No GPS tracking, no shock sensor, no screen (you only use the screen once to set up the view anyway, other than that I think it's a potential distraction), no bells and whistles- just a camera that turns on when I tell it to (wired to auto start recording whenever the truck is on, but also on a switch for "always-on" option) The wide angle and standard are the same price, just make sure you know which one you're ordering if you choose to get these.

You can change things with a downloadable program that manages the camera. IIRC, I think I have my loops set to 10 min? You can set it to record as a single track, but I believe it would only do that if you record in 720p. They will erase the oldest and record over the oldest data. Using an external memory card, 64Gb gives you about 10 hours of video set at the highest quality (1080p- arguable just as good as GoPro, but with a better white balance). Some reviews said that the cameras had a hard time using larger memory cards and the firmware couldn't keep up. I haven't tried anything larger than 64 so I don't know.

Just messing. It's not hard. The cameras come with a short USB cable only. I hardwired mine by adding a cig lighter with dual USB ports under the dash and ran longer usb cable to there behind the headliner (everything is hidden- most people don't even see the dash cams in my truck). How you wire that is up to you. You can tap into an ACC-ON fuse behind the coin tray (no need to worry about overloading the circuit since these only draw about 2 amps). Or you can wire the outlet to a switch and use the cameras that way. Only reason I didn't do this is because now you have to remember to turn them on every time you drive. The software is where you can program the cameras to turn on when power is applied so you don't have to actually hit the "on" button to power them up either.
Of course then you also need the mounts of your choosing. The cameras have the standard threaded hole on them so I took advantage of some cheap mount combo thing on Amazon that came with like 5 different mounts (suction cup, stick on, clamp on, etc.) Only cost around $10, IIRC. Don't remember the exact one, but do a quick search on amazon and there are a shitload of them usually labeled for GoPro.
