Did my wheels couple a weekends ago. Happy with the results. I couldn't get the index cards in between the tires and the wheels. Had to tape them off.

Go around the badges carefully with a knife after it dries. Although I recommend taking the badges off completely and painting them for real

    Holey mother of all threads!

Read to page 25 and copied off a bunch of good tips. Got started here thanks to LilTuffChick, or whatever her name is.

Stopping by Home Depot tonight to black out the chrome emblems. This is an awesome looking cheap and non-permanent mod.

Also, I would think having this on the front "valence" would protect it from small nicks over time.

Probably doing my wheels too but, gotta wait till it's warmer and not raining.

So, I now get to add a new tool to the arsenal, heat gun! Rather not use the wife's blow dryer and I know she wouldn't like it either!

Lets see, I've had this truck three whole days and have ordered:
    -Tonneau cover
    -Seat covers
    -Now buying Plasti-dip.

I hate you guys! But really, I love this site already.

Look forward to the results. One of my favorite trucks was my Mazda Navajo and it had lots of black trim, including fenders.

Yeah nice job on the fenders. I'm going to black mine this weekend, give the blue a little contrast and hopefully make it look a little tougher. Then if I don't like it, I'll peel it off.

Yeeouch  on the crunched fender! Hit a guardrail or something? Looks like you took a can-opener to it.
