PDip fan here. It's just good stuff. Much better etching quality than the crappy Krylon spray paint. Krylon = Chips, Pdip = success.

Wish they made a gray Pdip spray.

not long. i just sprayed the hole thing with 4 coats. took a razer blade and very so slightly ran it along the edges. making sure not to go to hard to not make marks on the plastic. took me about 20min to cut and pull off what i wanted off. maybe could go faster but i took my time and did it slow. no right up i did not fill the need for one as it’s to easy and self explanatory.

i never took the cup holders out first. just unscrew the shifter and and the side of of the that part press in and pull up their is little clips at each corner and in the middle on each side. takes like 20 seconds.

Got a little overspray on my truck today when I dipped my emblems. It comes off with a wet rag, but is very time consuming. Is there an easier way to clean it off?

Signed on it Sat but dealer trader won't be in till tomorrow. I should get a call in the morning on when it will be in. I am hoping there is one at a nearby dealer so I can get it the next day or sometime this week. I don't feel like the torture of waiting for them to get it from a distributing center..lol!

Ok im not sure if this is somewhere in the tread but i just tried to plastidip my emblems. I cleaned all around the emblems with an alcohol and prepped everything. i did 4 coats 20 minutes apart and waited 40 to try and take it off. it came off in small pieces and was choppy around the letters and started coming off some letters. I took it all off and it came off easily like it should. It was about 55 degrees outside and about 50% humidity. what m i doing wrong? any tips would be greatly appreciated!

    nothing cool
While the plastidip is still a little wet, go around the letters with a toothpick. Then spray another coat, repeat.

I had the girlfriend trace the outline on my badges with a safety pin. I don't have steady hands.

Plasti dip is great stuff. The plasti dip on my grill surround is starting to peel a little in the corner where I didn't get a good coat on it, but the badges are holding up excellent. I love the way it looks around the A/C controls as well.
